Lies, Deceit, Fraud & Treason: Soldiering like a Peacenik

**Scroll to the bottom for UPDATES

“If the video gets widespread exposure, it is unfathomable that support for a US troop presence in Iraq could be sustained, and surely Iran would fall off the chickenhawks’ table of targets. It is a video that should number the days of the Bush administration.”  - Information from the Occupied Iraq

Aw, too bad.  The video and the soldier are frauds.  Looks like the Bush administration stays.

For those still not convinced there is a concerted effort to smear the war effort on terror and demonize the US soldier, here’s more evidence  (John Murtha will love this guy). Anti-war nutcase fringe groups have been putting Jesse Macbeth on a pedestal as he describes US atrocities in Iraq. . Who is Jesse MacBeth? He *thinks* he’s a young former US Army Ranger who *served* in Iraq with these self-described distinctions:

  • jessephoto.jpgRanger Tab
  • Jump Wings with 1 Combat Star
  • Combat Infantryman’s Badge
  • Expert Marksman, Rifle
  • Sharpshooter, Pistol
  • Sharpshooter, Recoiless Rifle
  • Bronze Star
  • Purple Heart
  • Army Commendation
  • Army Achievement, 2 Oak Leaf Clusters
  • Good Conduct Medal
  • OIF and OEF Ribbons

Wow, impressive! Except that he’s a total fraud.

Michelle Malkin is all over this story and posted this MUST WATCH VIDEO about the entire ordeal.

Interview by Socialist Alternative with *decorated war hero-Army Ranger* Jesse Macbeth:

The hippie group Information from the Occupied Iraq reported that:

Macbeth, a slim man with a crew cut, served 16 months in Iraq before being wounded and discharged from the military. Now the disillusioned man speaks out for Iraq Veterans Against the War. If the video gets widespread exposure, it is unfathomable that support for a US troop presence in Iraq could be sustained, and surely Iran would fall off the chickenhawks’ table of targets. It is a video that should number the days of the Bush administration.

Macbeth says the message is not getting out and the corporate media is complicit.

Information from the Occupied Iraq gave these riveting accounts of what the US soldier is REALLY doing in Iraq:

An extraordinarily candid video co-produced by Seattle’s Pepperspray Productions and Peacefilms Vancouver should chill the hearts of concerned Americans and peace-loving people everywhere. At one point in the video, we hear the shaken ex-army ranger and Iraq war veteran Jessie MacBeth admit to the Stygian depths of depravity and evil that US service personnel have sunk:

Jesse Macbeth: “We were doing the night raids in houses, and uh, we would pull people out and we’d have them all, like ah, on the knees and zip-tied. And, ah, we’d ask the guy questions, the whole family, the, the man-of-the-house questions. And if he didn’t answer the way we liked, you know, we would shoot his youngest kid in the head. And we’d keep going; this was our interrogation. He could be innocent, you know. He could be just an average Joe trying to support his family. And if he didn’t give us a satisfactory answer, we’d start killing off his family until he told us something. If he didn’t know anything, guess he was SOL, you know — which sucked.  I didn’t feel anything. I just wanted to do my job. “

Wait, is this Jesse Macbeth or John Kerry?

Speaking for our soldiers (like Cindy Sheehan):

Jesse Macbeth: A lot of people from the military that are over there fighting, they don’t want no more war. And all it takes is a few good men, to, to hold the rallying flag for them to rally behind and, and we’ll stop this shit. The thing is that the government is doing so much to not let us be heard. You know, the mainstream media won’t play a lot of stuff; I talk a lot; they don’t play a lot of the stuff that we talk about. They cut it out, and, and only play what the people, what they want people to hear.

If you dare, read the entire article at Information from the Occupied Iraq

fake_ranger_1.jpgDoes this even remotely resemble a US Army Ranger?

1. Black t-shirt (should be tan)
2. Beret over left ear (should be over right)
3. Rolled up sleeves (Marines roll)
4. Special Forces Combat Patch (isn’t he supposed to be a RANGER?)
5. No Ranger Tab
6. No Airborne Wings
7. No Unit Crest
8. No Sewn on Rank
9. Improperly displayed flag in background

Sick yet?  Information from the Occupied Iraq said that Macbeth’s testimony showed the “depths of depravity and evil that US service personnel have sunk”.   Actually, it’s the other way around.

****Iowa Hawk posted this HILARIOUS PARODY with Jesse Macbeth as the guest Iowa Hawk blogger.  Macbeth deserves to be laughed at.  Do it here.

This guy should be arrested for something. Posing as an Army Ranger has to be against some law somewhere, and if it ain't, it oughta be.

Everybody wants to be a war hero. (except me, I got my belly full a long time ago). Amy please tell your husband THANK YOU FOR SERVING, for me and that we at VIPP appreciate his loyalty, valor, and service to this country.

Burn in hell, poser.
These scums are not worthy to clean out a Soldier's latrine after we've barfed at all their despicable attempts to smear our President. I won't post anything else lest I defile Amy's board with how I REALLY feel about these anti-war LIARS.

The sources I quoted have pulled their articles... luckily, I copied and pasted them. I'll post them tomorrow as time allows.

This is the "apology" to the public at the "Information from Occupied Iraq":

We sincerely regret any errors of fact that may have been made in giving credence to Mr. MacBeth's testimony. We will exercise greater diligence and scrutiny in the future if and when similar circumstances arise.

We also wish to emphasize that abundant evidence of atrocities against innocent Iraqis carried out by US forces in the course of America's illegal invasion and ongoing occupation of Iraq -- the Abu Ghraib torture scandal, the use of chemical weapons in Fallujah, the killing of journalists, and many other incidents documented by both alternative and mainstream media -- already exists, regardless of Mr. MacBeth's claims, and cannot be swept under the rug if it indeed turns out Mr. MacBeth has provided a false account. American imperialism and the criminal conduct of US leaders -- both Democrat and Republican -- is exacting a terrible toll on the Iraqi people, the possibilities for peace tomorrow, and the economy here at home. Outside of a parasitic minority of the rich and privileged, we are all losers in this dreadful war.

My heart is warmed! The fact is that these anti-war nuts want so badly for their ill conceived fantasy that 1) the military is evil and 2) we're killing thousands of civilians to be true that they don't even bother checking the sources of such unbelievable testimony. The intro to the article gives them away:

***********
“If the video gets widespread exposure, it is unfathomable that support for a US troop presence in Iraq could be sustained, and surely Iran would fall off the chickenhawks’ table of targets. It is a video that should number the days of the Bush administration."

AND

Jessie MacBeth admit to the Stygian depths of depravity and evil that US service personnel have sunk:
***********

EXPOSED. The heart of the anti-war movement is about getting rid of Pres. Bush, discrediting the military and crushing public support for the war effort.

I don't understand what everyone is all torn up about? Why is everyone's knickers in a twist?

If Ray "Nefarious" Nagan can be a poser, why not this melon-heeeded dork!

(impersonating anyone in the military is a crime - impersonating an officer is worse, especially if you are active duty)

See the UCMJ:

And, the state of Hawaii has this on the DoD books:

Fix4, you rock. I have been looking for days for laws regarding impersonating a soldier. I gave up looking under Army regulations and turned to Federal Law to no avail.

Thanks!

TITLE 18--CRIMES AND CRIMINAL PROCEDURE
PART I--CRIMES
CHAPTER 33--EMBLEMS, INSIGNIA, AND NAMES

Title 18 Sec. 702. Uniform of armed forces and Public Health Service
http://frwebgate.access.gpo.gov/cgi-bin/getdoc.cgi?dbname=browse_usc&docid=Cite:+18USC702

::TEXT::
Whoever, in any place within the jurisdiction of the United States or in the Canal Zone, without authority, wears the uniform or a distinctive part thereof or anything similar to a distinctive part of the uniform of any of the armed forces of the United States, Public Health Service or any auxiliary of such, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than six months, or both.

And, there ya are. Oh, and last year there was something known as the "Stolen Valour Act" which really needs to get passed (H.R. 3352). There is a petition and such up to be signed. Alas, I think the date has expired and nothing has happened. This House Resolution was set to ammend Title 18 Section 704, which reads as follows:

Title 18 Sec. 704. Military medals or decorations
http://frwebgate.access.gpo.gov/cgi-bin/getdoc.cgi?dbname=browse_usc&docid=Cite:+18USC704
::TEXT::
(a) In General.--Whoever knowingly wears, manufactures, or sells any decoration or medal authorized by Congress for the armed forces of the United States, or any of the service medals or badges awarded to the members of such forces, or the ribbon, button, or rosette of any such badge, decoration or medal, or any colorable imitation thereof, except when authorized under regulations made pursuant to law, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than six months, or both.

This is something that I looked at many 'nagins' ago when we caught him wearing the uniform. He is subject to Title 18 prosecution. But, who's gonna go after the guy when so many Democrats hate the military.

Oh well, watch them throw the book at the melon-heed and Nagin walks. Figures.

"Heed! Heed! Move dat ee-normuss noggin!"

Amy - you got me spun up again ... I just had to post all three Title 18 Sections that get me cross-eyed and fumin'.

For those that like to read legal-ese, you can see the sections related to defacing Old Glory (Section 700), wearing the uniform of any US Military rank (Section 702), and finally people that say the earned or wear on their fake uniform(s) any medal issued for acts of valor (Section 704).

Just for kicks - ya know? Maybe one of you'll need the resource, so, grab the links from here or over at my "home".

Take care all, and, God Bless!

Punitive Articles of the UCMJ

Article 134 - (Impersonating a commissioned, warrant, noncommissioned, or petty officer, or an agent or official)

(1) That the accused impersonated a commissioned, warrant, noncommissioned, or petty officer, or an agent of superior authority of one of the armed forces of the United States, or an official of a certain government, in a certain manner;

(2) That the impersonation was wrongful and willful; and

(3) That, under the circumstances, the conduct of the accused was to the prejudice of good order and discipline in the armed forces or was of a nature to bring discredit upon the armed forces.

Note 1: If intent to defraud is in issue, add the following additional element after (2), above: That the accused did so with the intent to defraud a certain person or organization in a certain manner;.

Note 2: If the accused is charged with impersonating an official of a certain government without an intent to defraud, use the following additional element after (2) above: That the accused committed one or more acts which exercised or asserted the authority of the office the accused claimed to have;.

#3 sums it up:

"That, under the circumstances, the conduct of the accused was to the prejudice of good order and discipline in the armed forces or was of a nature to bring discredit upon the armed forces."

We need to start a petition and nab this guy.

Oh, and I found Jesse Macbeth IN UNIFORM misrepresenting himself on an internet dating site! I'll post photos later.

May 25, 2006 | Unregistered CommenterMax Creel
Information of the Occupied Iraq's ignorance of the military is certainly exposed through this fraud. How can they be a reliable critic of what our armed forces are supposedly doing if they don't really know what our troops actually do/look like? Yeesh. I guess they could argue that I should not then be able to support the military, since I don't know everything about their uniforms or official conduct, but that's just silly. My dad was in the Air Force and my brother is, now. I've got some idea. And, I'm so much smarter about the military because of yours and Johnny's posts. Thanks, you guys, for reporting truth. ;-)

People like Mac Beth are Anti-American, and I most certainly, and more than question, his patriotism.

I notice not even Cobra is defending the punk.

Lying losers! Ohhh!! That burns me up!

Amy, as I was reading the article, I asked my hubby (former GI) if it was illegal to impersonate army personnel? He had said, "yes." Then I was reading the comments and I love the info Fix gave.

Can these people be more anti-American? What is their major malfunction?

I am sorry I am with Johnny, I will not pollute your site with my true feelings, why should I stoop to more name-calling and wind up in the same brain-dead place as the left-moonbats. Ooops!! I just did!! lol!! hee, hee.

You know how I feel about this slimeball. One concern:
Did you check out the first link on this article? " Information from the Occupied Iraq "
It is really an anti-American site!
May 25, 2006 | Unregistered CommenterRuth
Ruth, yep, and you know how I feel about this slimeball, too.

Information from Occupied Iraq is a MEGA anti-American site. That's why they didn't even bother to check their sources, i.e,. Rugged Ranger Macbeth. Now they have egg on their collective commie faces.
May 25, 2006 | Registered CommenterAmy Proctor
It's weird, when I read your post, the first thing I did was run, not walk, to the UCMJ. Once I was clear on what would happen to anyone _IN_ the military that impersonates another rank or person, then the light when on in the fridge - US Code. Hmmm ...

Once I found Title 18, it was off to the races!

Oh, Amy, I figured I'd get ya the content while you were in mid-slumber! Being on the Left Coast means I can get ya some backup while you're on down time.

Someone to watch your six, so to speak!

Take care, everyone, and God Bless!

I think any soldier who has served in or who is currently serving in Iraq should be able to sue this slimeball and any media that helped him for defamation of character. ( I guess we would have to define character for these slimeballs first)
May 26, 2006 | Unregistered CommenterRuth
This guy needs to be found and arrested. He needs to be convicted and serve real time. It is high time such evil attempts to smear good men and women of character be punished to the full limit of the law. Awesome post and of course Michelle rocks as usual.
May 27, 2006 | Unregistered Commenterradar
He sure didn't try very hard to look like a real soldier. I can see five things right off the bat, that are wrong with his uniform. What a joke.
May 29, 2006 | Unregistered CommenterDeb
Maybe we're being a bit hard on the guy. I've got an idea, lets give him the chance to have a town hall Q&A at someplace where, as a "ranger", he'd be familiar. I vote for Ft. Benning. I'm sure his former "comrades in arms" would love to welcome him back into the fold.

Also add to the what's wrong with the picture, the flash itself. It's the flash of 1st SFG.
May 29, 2006 | Unregistered CommenterAnthony

silence on the right after that armytimes poll, showing the military does not support the surge of troops, does not support Bush, does not support the war in Iraq, does not believe it is essential to the war on terror, the silence is defening.

Ok so he didnt win American Idol! Is this Sanjayah Malakar resorting to complete stupididty? Impersonating an Army Ranger. I was ever an Army Ranger, although I served with some. Let me tell you something, if any of them get on a mission to find this RETARD, they will and he will regret it. These guys play for keeps and they do take likely to ANYONE dis-honoring the service they and their fallen comrades provide.
This guys needs his @$$ beat!

I really hope that one day, he goes into a bar where some real Army Rangers are celebrating coming back from overseas, and give Jesse a session of hand to hand combat training that he really needs. God bless the real American Soldiers and Military, Anywhere in this World. Doing what is right, and decent.

I had a disagreement with someone concerning 'impersonating a soldier' as a Halloween costume. I said that regardless of the reason it is an illegal act. I told him the uniform must be earned and it is degrading to wear it if you haven't earned it. Thoughts?

October 21, 2007 | Unregistered CommenterFormer Air Force Airman

i aa a ranger first off his beret is over the wrng side the flash isnt yellow and black and you put a di in the middle of your flas it doesnt stay blank we dont roll our sleves in duy uniform ad mustaches are unauthorized hes a peice of shit liar and for sayin hes a hero he eserves to be sent to iraq not jail and let us shot his ass

November 2, 2007 | Unregistered Commenterjohn

I one day would like to earn my Ranger Tab, so I have done a little research on this matter. To add this complete dishonor of the United States Army, and the elite Army Ranger for that matter, the flash on this idiots beret is that of a Special Forces unit, not the 75th Ranger Regiment. So if a 17 year old high school student can point out this moron's "intelligence" then the rest of the world should be able to as well.

this is B.S. this guy is NOT I say is NOT an army Ranger, he is not in uniform of a Ranger. I am a Ranger < out of the army now> an anyone else who is knows right away he is not by looking at the poor attempt to dress him up like one. I bet he couldent even finnish the darby queen a one mile long obsticle corse at Ranger school ever Ranger must run I chalange him to do just that 1 task of many a Ranger must compleet to earn I repeat EARN the Ranger tab. Please come clean and tell the truth thats what a Ranger would do.

His uniform is so fucked up its not even funny. since when do we wear black undershirts? civil war? haha nice queer bag watch too. Rangers wear Casio's buddy not $50 fossil imitations. Wear are your jump wings? Ranger Scroll? And your beret flash is yellow with NO unit insignia. Plus we don't have mustaches its against the Ranger standards. Id love to beat this guy to death
