Yawn.... Typical neo-con attack on people who lost their kids and want to know why.

Her son was killed in a senseless attack by Bush on a country that had no WMDs and not responsible for 9/11.

Did you look under your bed Amy? Maybe Bin Laden is there... Booooo

See you in the November polls. We are coming and all hell is coming with us. Booooo
June 4, 2006 | Unregistered CommenterThe boogey man
Boogey, wow, thanks for your thoughtful and intelligent comments from the Left. You've represented the intellect and ignorance of your side well.

Would it be better to have John Murtha or any number of anti-war nuts hugging Bin Laden? They say the same things but haven't lost anyone in the war. In case you don't recall, it was Cindy Sheehan who called al-Qaeda in Iraq "freedom fighters". That would make the photo pretty accurate.

Oh, dear! Not only you Americans losing face because of the Iraq war, it seems that your sense humour is the drain as well... No offense!

Come now, Amy Proctor, surely you can do better than this!

Perhaps let a non-American, non-white (brown to the core!), an asian and a citizen of a thrid world nation share a good funny picture with you and your fellow readers on your blog....

Unless, you don't think that we, poor,"backward" people don't have the right to share our thoughts, opinions, jokes and etc. You see, I heard and observe some disturbing rumours/news/facts? of Americans looking at us (Asians) as sub-humans and we are not equal with you all in any way...Never mind about that.

Here's the link:

Oh, by the way it comes with a video and story to go with it...Here's the kicker: the picture is actually real!

Hmmm, isn't it odd that liberals feel the need to hide their identity while claiming they are PROUD of who they are and what they stand for? At least Cindy Sheehan is open and honest.
June 4, 2006 | Registered CommenterAmy Proctor
i don't know much about cindy sheehan, but it annoys me when any critic of The War Against Terror is dismissed as a lover of bin Laden. Those are school-yard tactics.
June 4, 2006 | Unregistered Commenterjez
Open and HONEST,Amy? Come now, Sheehan is not honest.
June 4, 2006 | Unregistered CommenterRuth
Hey, Jez, Cindy Sheehan called them "freedom fighters" that clearly implies an admiration. If you want to know about schoolyard tactics, talk to Counter Culture who posts a photo from a much different time and occasion implying it is currently relevant.

Okay, I am going to say something rather infantile. Maybe her shirt says, "I want to be with stupid" "because I am stupid."

Counter,

If you round out your knowledge of war with past US military engagements, you'll see that we are NOT losing the war in Iraq. That is an easy rhetorical myth from the left who 1) hate Bush, 2) are ignorant of the accomplishments in this war and 3) are unfamiliar with what victory looks like. I cannot blame you totally; since you hardly ever see what actually happens in Iraq and the MSM presents only the blood, guts and horror with none of the accomplishments or praise for locals. That's unfortunate. Of course, your agenda suits that of the MSM, so you are blind because you choose to be. That's another issue.

As for your lame attempt to put the Administration in bed with Saddam, I've addressed this many times on my blog. Here's the background and foreground of events surrounding the Rumsfeld/Saddam hand shake (you might want to ask yourself it if bothers you that Jimmy Carter and Cindy Sheehan have both embraced Hugo Chavez while you're at it): [this is all from the link YOU provided]
**********************
-By the summer of 1983 Iran had been reporting Iraqi use of using chemical weapons for some time. The Geneva protocol requires that the international community respond to chemical warfare, but a diplomatically isolated Iran received only a muted response to its complaints. It intensified its accusations in October 1983, however, and in November asked for a United Nations Security Council investigation.
-The U.S., which followed developments in the Iran-Iraq war with extraordinary intensity, had intelligence confirming Iran's accusations, and describing Iraq's "almost daily" use of chemical weapons, concurrent with its policy review and decision to support Iraq in the war. The intelligence indicated that Iraq used chemical weapons against Iranian forces, and, according to a November 1983 memo, against "Kurdish insurgents" as well.

-Donald Rumsfeld (who had served in various positions in the Nixon and Ford administrations, including as President Ford's defense secretary, and at this time headed the multinational pharmaceutical company G.D. Searle & Co.) was dispatched to the Middle East as a presidential envoy.

-Rumsfeld met with Saddam, (HENCE THE PHOTO) and the two discussed regional issues of mutual interest, shared enmity toward Iran and Syria, and the U.S.'s efforts to find alternative routes to transport Iraq's oil; its facilities in the Persian Gulf had been shut down by Iran, and Iran's ally, Syria, had cut off a pipeline that transported Iraqi oil through its territory. Rumsfeld made no reference to chemical weapons, according to detailed notes on the meeting

-Rumsfeld also met with Iraqi Foreign Minister Tariq Aziz, and the two agreed, "the U.S. and Iraq shared many common interests." Rumsfeld affirmed the Reagan administration's "willingness to do more" regarding the Iran-Iraq war, "BUT MADE CLEAR THAT OUR EFFORTS TO ASSIST WERE INHIBITED BY CERTAIN THINGS THAT MADE IT DIFFICULT FOR US, CITING THE USE OF CHEMICAL WEAPONS, POSSIBLE ESCALATION IN THE GULF AND HUMAN RIGHTS."

-Rumsfeld returned to Baghdad in late March 1984. By this time, the U.S. had PUBLICLY CONDEMNED IRAQ'S CHEMICAL WEAPONS USE, STATING, "The United States has concluded that the available evidence substantiates Iran's charges that Iraq used chemical weapons". BRIEFINGS FOR RUMSFELD'S MEETINGS NOTED THAT ATMOSPHERICS IN IRAQ HAD DETERIORATED SINCE HIS DECEMBER VISIT because of Iraqi military reverses and because "bilateral relations were sharply set back by our March 5 condemnation of Iraq for CW use, despite our repeated warnings that this issue would emerge sooner or later".

****************************

This was the first meeting between Saddam and the US. Saddam had only been President of Iraq since 1979. Four years. I would think you'd be glad that the US was trying to use diplomatic means to explore Iraq's WMD use and development.

So... what was your point? Don't be overly pleased with yourself that you found a photo of Rumsfeld and Saddam meeting as dignitaries for the first time. I can produce photos of your favorite Democrats...so if your implication is wrong doing (if it is, it's an uninformed implication), you've got some 'splainin' to do about your political buds.

Your inane attempt at a racial put down doesn't deserve a response.
June 4, 2006 | Registered CommenterAmy Proctor
Ruth, I think Cindy has been more honest about her opinions and stances than most Democratic politicians. That's why she looks like such an idiot.

Jez, Cindy isn't just any war critic, she's a war critic extraordinaire! She and Osama's sayings can only be told apart by the inarticulacy of Sheehan. Otherwise, they're pretty similar.

One Example:
“Bush is a terrorist”

CINDY: "We are not waging a war on terror in this country. We’re waging a war of terror. The biggest terrorist in the world is George W. Bush!"

Osama Bin Laden: "We believe that the biggest thieves in the world are Americans and the biggest terrorists on earth are the Americans."

She also sharest he rhetoric of others terrorists:

“Bush is a liar”

CINDY: “That lying bastard, George Bush, is taking a five-week vacation in time of war."

Ayman al-Zawahiri: "Bush, the liar, was forced to announce in November 2005 that he would withdraw his troops from Iraq. Since Bush is addicted to lying, he justified his withdrawal by saying that Iraqi forces have become well-trained.”

“Bush spreading freedom and democracy”

CINDY: "If George Bush believes his rhetoric and his bullsh**, that this is a war for freedom and democracy, that he is spreading freedom and democracy, does he think every person he kills makes Iraq more free? If he thinks that it’s so important for Iraq to have a U.S.-imposed sense of freedom and democracy, then he needs to sign up his two little party-animal girls. They need to go to this war."

Ayman al-Zawahiri: "My Muslim nation, you will not enjoy free elections, protected sanctity, governments which are being called to account by the people and a respectable judiciary unless you are free from the crusader-Zionist occupation and the corrupted governments, and this will not be fulfilled but with Jihad."

“Bush wants oil”

CINDY: "Are we supporting our troops dying and innocent Iraqi people being killed for oil and greed?"

Aljazeera: "Long before the September 11 attacks, Bush’s administration made plans for oil and war on Iraq. Days after this administration was incepted, a conflict has taken place inside the White House between the neo-conservatives at the Pentagon, on one side, and a combination of "Big Oil" executives and U.S. State Department "pragmatists" on the other.

In his book, "Against all Enemies," Richard A. Clarke mentions that Bush Senior was always thinking of ways in which he can put a direct hand on Iraqi oil, until Bush Junior holds office and fulfils his father’s dream in 2003."

“Bush and Zionism”

CINDY: "Am I emotional? Yes, my first born was murdered. Am I angry? Yes, he was killed for lies and for a Neo-Con agenda to benefit Israel. My son joined the Army to protect America, not Israel. Am I stupid? No, I know full-well that my son, my family, this nation, and this world were betrayed by George [W.] Bush who was influenced by the neo-con PNAC agenda after 9/11."

Ayman al-Zawahiri: “O, Bush, the son of Bush, you should know that in spite of you, and even if it means you die of your frustration and lose your mind, removing Israel is an individual duty on every Muslim.

CINDY: "America has been killing people on this continent since it was started. This country is not worth dying for…"

I didn't even include comments by Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
June 4, 2006 | Registered CommenterAmy Proctor
We're not losing Iraq. We're killing terrorists. Each kill is a victory. This "quagmire" myth is a political tactic to get elected, a trap liberals are all to happy to stick their head in.

Cindy Sheehan is a quack who thinks Katrina shouldn't have gotten so much media coverage. Apparently the death of her son overrides an entire U.S. city getting flattened by a hurricane.

Culture: Grow up. You found a picture. How incriminating. You're country might not be backward, but you certainly are. We have other pictures too, but libs don't seem to care about those.
June 4, 2006 | Unregistered CommenterTim
Amy, Cindy Sheehan and her husband met with George Bush shortly after Casey's death. She claimed to support the president, trust his intentions, and feel comforted by his words.

Now she acts like he "refused" to meet with her. She has nothing but disdain for his intentions and she calls him a liar.

It just seems that she was either lying then or now.

Ruth, true.
June 4, 2006 | Registered CommenterAmy Proctor
Amy: sure, it's just something I've seen pretty much every critic accused of at one time or another. Just wanted to register that it annoys me.

Tim: "We're killing terrorists. Each kill is a victory."

This is not necessarily true, if the ill will generated by a single kill induces two civillians to become terrorists, then each kill is a loss. We need to examine the level of insurgent activity to judge the effectiveness of our actions.
June 5, 2006 | Unregistered Commenterjez
"This is not necessarily true, if the ill will generated by a single kill induces two civillians to become terrorists, then each kill is a loss."

That is a big "if" Jez. I know the leftist mantra is that we are "creating" more terrorists by being over there, though they have no way of identifying that, and the logic behind it is weak to say the least. The majority of Iraqis want us over there, so this myth that we have become "invaders" and are creating more terrorists is ubsurd. The insurgency level is based on virtually every Islamic terrorist group in the Middle East recognizing that if we outlast them, there day is over. They will continue to throw everything they have at Iraq, because if Iraq becomes a stable democracy, they are in a world of poo.
June 5, 2006 | Unregistered CommenterTim
Tim: well I chose the numbers to make the mechanism clear, not because I think there's a 1:2 ratio involved. The problem with your simplistic "every kill is a win" statement is all I wanted to flag up.
If they are throwing everything they have at Iraq, and if they were throwing everything at it yesterday too, then shouldn't your "kill=win" program be effective, and the level of insurgency be falling? My real point (the logic behind which is fine, btw) is that it is the level of insurgency which is the criterion for a "win", not how many kills we can score.

Again resorting to falsefying facts (a neo-con specialty). So now Murtha is the bad guy for speaking up? I cant wait to see his photo with Bin Laden. What about Rumsfeld's ex-generals. Are they also going to pose with Bin Laden?

Boogey, I used to really like the Dixie Chicks. Fortunately I didn't buy any of their CDs before they made their stupid statement overseas. You and their other 2 fans should buy as many CDs as possible, for their sake.

Your other comments are asinine and don't deserve a response.

If you don't mind me asking, why do you hide behind anonymity? Are you ashamed of your beliefs?

Iraq invaded Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Iran. Three strikes and you're out. This recent war is a contunuation of the cease fire agreements Sadam did not honor (no honor among thieves). There were ten reasons given before we kicked off this continuation. Securing WMDs was just one of the ten.
What did Italy do to us? (that could have been Cindy's cry in 1943). It took her how long to put a marker on his grave? She is being used (useful idiots) by the left and is unpatriotic. Many, many, many more wives and mothers know why their sons died to defend our country. Too bad Cindy didn't take the time to ask him before and is dishonoring him now. Shameful display of using his service to elevate her status.

"Your other comments are asinine and don't deserve a response."

Yes they do, Amy. If I may?

"So now Murtha is the bad guy for speaking up?"

For declaring U.S. Marines guilty before a fair trial takes place? You betcha. And you are the bad guy as well for being a partisan hack, defending something you'd be appalled at if committed by a Republican.Try at least to look objective in your anonymity.

"Your moment of truth is coming in November.Your operations will be shut down and America will be free and respected once again"

Like it was respected when Clinton committed perjury and pardoned convicted traitors? What is your idea of "respect"? I'll believe that when you let your wife or daughter spend 10 minutes alone in the oval office with Slick Willy, or the Demented Dean, or and other Dem. If that is "respect", you liberals can keep it. The U.S. doesn't want respect, it wants to be left alone. And don't get your hopes up about this pipe dream that the Dems will take over. They've been saying that since 1998 and it never seems to happen.

"P.S. THE DIXIE CHICKS ROCK. AND THEY ARE STILL ASHAMED OF BUSH... "

They're as dumb as rocks, and Texas is ashamed of them, in case you've missed it.

"Shameful display of using his service to elevate her status."

Exactly. The rest of us actually respect her son's sacrifice, we don't squat and piss all over it the way she is now to get some desperately needed attention.

Jez: I understand what you are saying, all I'm saying is that a high insurgency level doesn't mean we are losing, it shows how important this is to the terrorists. Our win will gut them.

Run, don't walk to the exits Moonbats! If you keep propping up Murtha and Sheehan as your icons in this foray, you're just gonna shoot your election hopes in the foot.

By your logic, the Vietnam Memorial and the WWII Memorial are sick. So is every town with memorials honoring their war dead. What this means is that you are in denial that real people are dying in war. You and your fanatical supporters are afraid to look.

One day there will be an Iraq War memorial. I just hope it's not as big as Vietnam's.

P.S. You are misinformed or in denial about the Dixie Chicks. They are on the top 20 on VH1. Starbucks sells their CD. That means they have quite a few followers. No?

June 6, 2006 | Unregistered CommenterThe boogey man
Tim: my point is that it is formally possible that you could continue killing insurgents in Iraq indefinitely. Somehow extreme clerics are converting ordinary civilians into terrorists. It might be that the best way to combat that process does not involve killing terrorists.

Just want to flag up that possibility.
June 6, 2006 | Unregistered Commenterjez
"You say, my other comments don't deserve a response. I know why. It's hard to responde to the truth. Smear campaigns are the neo-con specialty."

That's funny, as I look at the list of posts above, I see you endlessly flapping your gums without any supporting your evidence, not to mention the "smearing" of "neocons." I'm glad the rest of the liberals I know are as hypocritical as you are. Its why we win elections.

"In November we are coming and hell is coming with us"

Yup. And that is exactly where your communist, baby killing, tax hiking, intern molesting, treason pardoning, marriage destroying, Constitution ignoring leaders will take us if it happens. By the way, the above statement is not "smear." Those are facts, and I can prove everyone of them, as can others. I can already hear Amy gleefully Googling all of them in case you're stupid enough to ask. Dare me to humiliate your worthless ideology. Just dare me.

"By your logic, the Vietnam Memorial and the WWII Memorial are sick"

Now you are just desperate for attention, you knew what she meant. Those memorials don't exist to piss people off, and you sure didn't post that link to "honor" any dead Marines. You did it for shock appeal, some how thinking pointing out dead guys (like we didn't know soldiers die) will change our minds. Unfortunatley for you and your retarded tactics, you are posting on a site moderated by a wife whose old man served in combat, as did Chief and the one writing this post that probably has you frothing at the mouth.

"One day there will be an Iraq War memorial. I just hope it's not as big as Vietnam's."

If liberals like you and Cindy would shut the Hell up the terrorists wouldn't be trying to outlast us until we pull out would they? The killers only said that this was there goal due to lack of American support in front of the whole globe a million times, why shouldn't you be unaware? Keep up the nonsense, because its that nonsense that will keep Dems out of office despite stupid poll numbers. Its a pipe dream, and I can't wait to hear you guys pout.

" P.S. You are misinformed or in denial about the Dixie Chicks. They are on the top 20 on VH1. Starbucks sells their CD. That means they have quite a few followers. No?"

Yeah, there are still plenty of morons willing to pay money for these hags' music. What can I say? America like the sound of impotent frustration.

Jez: noted, and your point is taken. My comments are not directed toward you.

Can't forget this gem:

Fanatical? Yes, we are all fanatical about Amy. I even have her poster on my wall, and somehow my wife doesn't seem to mind...

June 6, 2006 | Unregistered CommenterTim
Nice try, boogie. Go ahead and post a tribute to the WWII Memorial, which tastefully and respectfully honors the fallen.

The link you provided of dead soldiers in Iraq goes to prove....???? You cannot be real with your identity, so you should have nothing to lose in being real here. You used dead US soldiers in Iraq to bolster your idea that the war in Iraq is wrong.

You obviously have not been keeping yourself abreast of the war comparisons. Iraqi Freedom will not come close to rivaling Vietnam, to your disappointment I'm sure.

THIS is what I don't comprehend:

"In November we are coming and hell is coming with us. Look under your bed."

Look under my bed? Why are you so infatuated with my bed? I'm not worried a bit about November. Should I be? Republicans are not the control power freaks that Dems are, so even if we were to lose a few seats (which may or may not happen), we see it as the will of the peole. We sleep quite well at night.

Finally, you said:

"What this means is that you are in denial that real people are dying in war."

NO KIDDING! What an enlightenment! 19 of my husband's buddies died in Iraq. We know people are dying in Iraq. We also have helped Iraqis, who came to us through our various contacts via my husband's time in Iraq, with their various needs, both financial and with their safety. I listed above some of what we've done for Iraq... maybe it was in another thread, I'll have to check. What have YOU done to help the war come to a successful end? SUCCESSFUL being the operative word.

I think that to most reasonable folks its pretty obvious that constantly flexing military might and muscle at so called "terrorists" only creates more of them. Yet, there are and perhaps will always be a bunch who don't quite comprehend cause and effect analysis. Perhaps its easier to take a simplistic "Us vs Them" analysis, since it also seems more glorifying and appealing to the masses. Herding sheep, is the American way.

As per Dixie Chicks...

http://today.reuters.com/news/newsarticle.aspx?type=entertainmentNews&storyid=2006-06-07T230808Z_01_N07224908_RTRUKOC_0_US-DIXIE.xml&src=rss&rpc=22

Dixie Chicks tour struggling in several markets

By Ray Waddell

NASHVILLE (Billboard) - Initial ticket sales for the Dixie Chicks' upcoming tour are far below expectations and several dates will likely be canceled or postoned.

Ticket counts for the 20-plus arena shows that went on sale last weekend were averaging 5,000-6,000 per show in major markets and less in secondaries, according to sources contacted by Billboard. Venue capacities on the tour generally top 15,000.

In contrast, the band's new album, "Taking the Long Way," sold 526,000 units in its first week, according to Nielsen Soundscan, the third-largest sales week of 2006. The album logged a second week in the period ended June 4, according to sales data issued Wednesday.

Despite those numbers, early ticket sales are clearly not meeting projections. The plug was pulled on public on-sales for shows in Indianapolis (August 23), Oklahoma City (September 26), Memphis (September 27) and Houston (September 30) because of tepid pre-sales in a national promotion with Target stores.

The Memphis show has been pulled off the route and the status of the shows in Indianapolis, Houston and Oklahoma City remains uncertain. Industry speculation has it that much or all of the tour may be postponed. At the very least, it is likely routing and capacity will be reconfigured.

Early ticket sales for this tour are in marked contrast to the Chicks' last proper outing in 2003 when a national on-sale moved some 867,000 tickets the first weekend, and second shows were added in several markets. The Chicks ended up with the top-grossing country tour of 2003 at $62 million.

But not all shows on this tour are below projections. "We're happy (with our on-sale) and comparatively seem to be ahead of most," says John Page, Global Spectrum COO/GM at Wachovia Center in Philadelphia, where the trio is booked for July 25. A second date was added for the Air Canada Center in Toronto, where the first show sold out in eight minutes. "Canada loves the Chicks," says ACC booking director Patti-Ann Tarlton.

After two shows in London, the North American tour was set to begin July 21 in Detroit. But with ticket sales below expectations, it is possible the route and capacities may be further reconfigured. The Chicks are managed by Simon Renshaw and booked by Rob Light at Creative Artists Agency, both of whom declined to comment.

"I think that to most reasonable folks its pretty obvious that constantly flexing military might and muscle at so called "terrorists" only creates more of them."

Nice spin, but actually the facts show that terrorism in the middle east is created by ruthless, murdering, Muslim dictators, like the one we just removed from power. Do any liberals have any evidence that these terrorists keep multiplying or something? Its actually common sense to acknowledge that the insurgency level is such because THEY DON'T WANT US TO WIN. That's how important Iraq is to the war on terror, for those that still see no connection.

These guys make your Osama/Sheehan picture look amateurish. I hope you enjoy comics.

P.S. Who cares about Nashville. The powers (ie neo-cons) have ruined country music anyway. Only evangelical Christian music is made now or some cry-baby whining love song. That's what happens when you try to muffle artistic freedom of speech. You get garbage and no imagination. I remember when they tried to run Shania Twain out of town cause she trumped their lousy music.

P.P.S. Dixie Chicks went to #3 on VH1.Reports of cancellations are bull and lies, like everything else neo-con.

As for the D-Chix, no, the cancellations are not bull and lies. Another endearing liberal trait: lying to make their vaccuous points. http://www.latimes.com/entertainment/news/la-et-chicks9jun09,1,7509372.story?coll=la-headlines-entnews&track=crosspromo

Boogie Man: I realize you are desperate to prove yourself right about something, but again you are fishing. Now neocons are responsible for "ruining" country music? News to you; country music was ruined at its invention. The Dixie Chicks can sell all the albums they want, but if you think America will take seriously a couple of dumb blondes who forgot to lose their baby fat just because their music has a twang in it you are mistaken. Again.

Johnny From the LA times speaks for itself.
<<That album, "Taking the Long Way Home," is now in its second week at the top of the national sales chart, having sold nearly 800,000 copies during its first two weeks in stores. The group chose the song "Not Ready to Make Nice," a response to the controversy, as the first single, a record that country radio largely ignored.>>

Who are these 800,000 people who bought the album in such a hurry? It was Americans who appreciate freedom of speech and enjoy good music.Something the right wing neo-con minority will never comprehend.

Amy,

19 of your husband's buddies died in Iraq. Well, you think small. Over 2,700 of my fellow Americans died in Iraq for some big lies. 17,000 have been maimed. I am afraid before anyone has the guts to pull out it will be a much larger number. And here you are ridiculing one of the dead's mother.

When you put your trust in someone to go to war, and then you find out it was all a pack of lies, then the war is in doubt. The support is gone. The morale is gone. The trust is gone. This is no longer our war. It's your war. Deal with it but not at my expense.

See you in November when we bring you Dantes Hell.

"And here you are ridiculing one of the dead's mother."

Absolutely. But you are leaving yourself out. We are ridiculing you as well.

"When you put your trust in someone to go to war, and then you find out it was all a pack of lies, then the war is in doubt. The support is gone. The morale is gone. The trust is gone. This is no longer our war. It's your war. Deal with it but not at my expense."

What lies? Are you saying Saddam did NOT violate 14 Gulf War Ceasefire Treaties? Are you saying he did NOT committ crimes against humanity that Hitler would be proud of? Wow. Even the U.N. didn't argue those points, but I guess you get all the facts we don't down there in your mother's basement.

"See you in November when we bring you Dantes Hell."

Right. Which is why we just kicked out the liberal incumbents in my state, and why there won't be one Democrat left when we're done. 500 Dems switched parties here in May. Why? To vote in a right wing pro-life neo con. America wants conservatives. I can't wait until November to laugh at your despair.

Cindy Sheehan is a disgrace to motherhood. We ridicule her for exploiting her son's death. She ridicules Katrina victims for sucking up media coverage. Your kinda woman huh boogey?

boogey,

Forgive me if I doubt your sincerity and conern about your "fellow Americans". I truly doubt you are concerned with their welfare. If you were, you wouldn't repeat al-Qaeda talking points and discourage their mission, particularly since they want to be in Iraq to finish the job.

Exactly what "big lies" did any US soldier die for?

Go here:

http://amyproctor.squarespace.com/blog/2006/5/28/sentimentality-propaganda-and-hard-numbers.html

and compare casualty rates. The Iraq war has claimed less in 3 years than Pearl Harbor, D-Day, Battle of the Bulge, Iwo Jima as separate events in ONE DAY. Anyone with any military knowledge understands how successful this war is being fought.

If libs really supported the troops they'd shut the heck up and stop encouraging terrorists that they're winning in Iraq. You guys have done more to wound soldiers than anything else. Ask a soldier.

You live in a bubble. Support amongst the troops for the war is anything but gone. The poor ignorant public is being swayed by relentless stupidity such as you entered in your comments and if asked, they couldn't produce HOW we're losing. Because we aren't. The morale amongst the troops is anything but gone. You know, the TROOPS? The guys on the ground working hand in hand with Iraqis? The guys re-enlisting in theater in droves for another tour? Yes, THOSE troops have excellent morale. Nice try.

Give me a break, this was never your war. Unless Bill Clinton were Pres. you'd be against it. Deal with it, but not at YOUR expense? Again, give me a break! What have you sacrificed for the war on terror... besides NOTHING?

"And here you are ridiculing one of the dead's mother." Again, you made Ann Coulter's point. I can't criticize her for calling terrorists "freedom fighters" (the point of the picture, among others) because SHE LOST A SON? Then you have NO right to criticize ME for my stance on the war because MY husband served for a year, which brings me far closer to the engagement than YOU.

Oh, and by the way, Casey Sheehan RE-ENLISTED for another tour to go to Iraq or Afghanistan. He was a patriot from what I understand, unlike his mother. And I gladly ridicule her evil alliance with Osama. I can post, as I already have in this blog, countless examples of how she and Osama say the exact same thing. Enemies or bosom buddies? Hmmmmm....

Yep, see you in November when Republicans retain control in the House and Senate. It'll be fun!

Amy here are your big lies:

1) WMDs (None found)

2) Iraq caused 9/11 (Nothing to do with it)

3) Terrorists in Iraq prior to invasion. (Saddam had a grip on everyone's butt. )

4) We would be welcome with flowers. (We were welcomed with IEDs)

5) Mission Accomplished.(A flop photo-op with a big lie of a message from an AWOL guy. I dare you to put that picture up)

You still dont get it? Then you live in a bubble of lies.

I will not support a war based on lies. It's immoral, something you fake and pretentious Christians wouldnt understand.

America has leared its lesson about electing liars. We are coming in November and all of Hades, Dantes Inferno and Hell is coming with us.
