The Vampire Strikes Back

Valerie Plame and Joe Wilson have filed a lawsuit accusing Vice-President Dick Cheney, former Presidential advisor Karl Rove, Scooter Libby and 10 "John Doe"s of "putting the Wilsons and their children's lives at risk by exposing Plame" and trying to ruin her career.

Fox News reports that Mark Corallo, a spokesman for Rove, said, "Without even having had a chance to review the complaint, it is clear that the allegations are absolutely and utterly without merit."

The lawsuit can be viewed HERE.

This ought to be fun, especially considering that after 2 years of investigations the only ones who can be charged with ruining and outing the Plame/Wilsons is themselves and their ardent agenda against the current administration.

What a shame lawsuit. Now these two Clintonistas are requesting donations for their legal fund to pursue their grievance. Only the left has the gall to ask others to pay their way. I would love to have the Whos Who list of donors. That would prov...

They are just trying to keep this alive until the October and November elections. It will fail, as most Democrat stunts do.

Old Joe surely paid good money to be listed in the "Whos Who" book. What a laugh. This pair is nothing but kool-aid drinking Clintonites.

I wonder if Valerie has a blue dress?

Its all about the elections. The Democrats know that despite Bush's low numbers, and SUPPOSED lack of support for the GOP and the war in Iraq, they have not gathered any steam, and America still won't trust their worthless promises and wack job ideologies.

I just watched on Fox News: Joe Wilson ask for financial assistance (donations) in this lawsuit. They have a website for donations.

What's wrong Joe? A little short on cash? Book sales down this week?

I would love to see the "Who's Who" that donate to this sham cause.

Max, I just saw Robert Novak interviewed on Fox and he was asked primarily why HE wasn't targeted in the lawsuit. He supposed it had to be 1) due to freedom of the press (anyone who supported the NYTimes of outing SWIFT should be on Novak's side) and that 2) Plame hasn't been covert for many years.

Yesterday, Plame and Wilson went to a Democratic luncheon.... Novak suggested this is a political move to keep the issue of 'outing' on the table. There's not a lot alternative thought since Special Prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald has said there is no case. No one outed Plame because she was not covert and hadn't been for years. The case is closed, but this lawsuit is a way of trying to keep it on the table.

Man o man, when is this tirade going to end? I am ready for this to be done and over with.

I am in total agreement with everyone saying this is going to dredge along for election time. As I have stated many times, the Dems are grasping at straws.

This came out the day after Wilson was revealed as one of Novak's sources.

Big coincidence!

Just bring it, surely these boobs know they will be cross examined under oath. No NYT editors to withhold publication of hostile letters to the editor, just a perjury charge if they continue their pattern of lying.
