Hamas Web Site Lures Children to Martyrdom

The Israeli National News  reported several months ago that Hamas launched a website called Al-Fateh.net , which "glorifies shahada, martyrdom, and presents the deaths of terrorists attacking Israelis as a time of celebration."  The website preaches "the moral desirability of being a suicide terrorist via cartoons and children's stories."   (audio report on the story)

The home page is innocent enough, with a cartoon drawing of a wide-eyed girl in the middle of a flower.  Digging deeper, the message of child martyrdom and hatred for Israel is clear.  This website is devoted to Palestinians and the indoctrination of very young children to Jihad.  Here are some examples:

(**NOTE: Use Google Language to translate pages from Arabic to English)

Read the story of Palestinian children in a refugee camp talking about the Zionist occupation:

Venerate the Martyr of the Month

Read creepy Islamic children's stories (like 'Resourceful Killer')

Look at other Palestinian children who send in pictures:

Amy, Leticia and Karen, as mothers this appalls us. There's a picture on that website of a mother giving her child a machine gun to go become a martyr. Sickening. What the hell kind of Satanic religion is this?
July 31, 2006 | Unregistered CommenterAmy Proctor
"Satanic" is right, Amy.

Does anyone REALLY believe that Islam is a peaceful religion?
July 31, 2006 | Unregistered CommenterKaren
Amen to that! I mean come on, what parent in their right mind would teach their children that it's ok to kill others in the name of their religion? Especially when all their beliefs do is breed hate and violence...

Meanwhile, libs cry and whine about Israel's level of force, and Lebanese children getting bombed. Maybe if the condemned this they'd appear consistent in something besides hatred of Israel.

In WWII the soldiers talk about the children, and I've read where those now adults remember the kindness of the American soldiers. Winning over the children in these areas of hate is what it is going to take, in the long run, to help win against terrorism. The terrorists know this, so they get them while they're young so we can't infect them with love.

Pete,

You and your sicko friends the Islamofacist are nothing but little cowards you have not the courage to fight face to face you attack in the hidden and then you slip back behind the innocents you have no courage your all just a bunch of sniveling cowards.

What I have a hard time understanding is, little Islamic children and women holding guns and screaming, "Death to America and Israel!", but when they are killed, they are, "poor innocent women and children!"

Do these ignorant people really think us that dumb?

Also notice how "staged" the aftermath of bombed area's are in Lebanon.

I saw one guy actually change his whole demeanor once he saw the camera on, and went into a crying tirade.

Actually R.A.M. those people who think this do not know about blogs do not know of Fox News a lot of them are ignorant and don't know that the MSM media is bias some go through their day blissfully ignorant because they don't know any better. Really scary isn't it when you think about these people also voting.

Well, what's even more shocking is the fact that our leadership continue blathering about "the religion of peace", they're obviously in full support of these folks, TV shows like this are nothing new in the mid-east, there's a keen desire in our leadership to not bring up the obvious differences that are incompatable between a culture that celebrates life, and one that celebrates death.

they just will dither until Iran manufactures enough nukes to destroy us.

The religion of peace strikes again.

Mark,

I understand your sentiment, but I hope you can appreciate the reality that President Bush cannot give a speech where he villifies every single Muslim on this planet. Frankly, after the links AmyP posted, I wouldn't necessarily disagree with such an assessment, but he is still a major international leader and no small part of that is working within the system and not senselessly offending people on religious grounds. For one, it's immature but for two it doesn't foster cooperation. I don't know how devout President Bush truly is (and believe me, I've wondered) but whether he feels that way or not, the worst thing he could do is shoot his mouth off about Islam to the press.

Someone else said something about "innocent casualties"... again, having sifted through those links, I'm beginning to agree. It'd be interesting to know how many non-terrorists in the ME have terrorist sympathies.
August 1, 2006 | Unregistered CommenterTrent
Trent is right. There is no hope of victory in this war without the cooperation of Muslims of every stripe and background, and there is absolutely no hope of peace without the cooperation of Islamic states. The President is doing the right thing to continue to court non-juhadist Muslims (the overwhelming majority) for allied support. That precludes the demonization of all Muslims on the grounds of these people who have been warped by satanic hatred.

OK trent and Johnny, we wouldn't want to tell these folks strapping bombs on their kids is wrong, it might offend them, and their sweet children, I got your position.
August 1, 2006 | Unregistered CommenterMark
Mark, I get your sentiment as well. The Islamic reality is that is it a violent religion of retribution and social justice (or vengence). Yet Islamic countries like Iraq, Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates will have far more success fighting Islamofacism because they recognize it domestically as a war on their democratic way of life. They will never be Western, but they can fight Islamofascism if it threatens them as more reasonable Arab democracies.

Hamas and Hezbollah are like Al-Qaeda and need to be wiped off the map. There is CLEARLY something problematic about a religion that justifies in anyway the recruiting of children for violence. As I recall, this is exactly what the Nazis did with their youth. They were taken away from their families and indoctrinated into Hitlers' Army very young. Victory was more important than becoming a martyr, which differentiates Nazism from Islam, but we're with you that it is a sick religion. But there are some reasonable members of this religion and we need to woo them into fighting this war against the extremists, even if, and it's possible, that the majority are the extremists.

What Johnny said is 100% correct: "there is absolutely no hope of peace without the cooperation of Islamic states." This is another reason why the Democrats were buttheads to alienate the UAE with the port deal months ago.

August 1, 2006 | Unregistered CommenterAmy P
I'll agree with ya on the thought that there will be no hope for peace without cooperation of Islamic states, but I don't hold much hope for that happening, because Saudi is the number one net exporter of the curriculum you're looking at in this post, with Iran second, there is the same thing being taught right here in the good 'ol USA as wild thing notes here.

The Lebanese have accused the Syrians of never entirely leaving Lebanon, maintaining an outpost in the Bekaa Valley and being given cover by Hizbullah. It is also thought that the Iranians never left Lebanon either, handling logistical support for the terrorists also in Bekaa.

Could the Israelis be going after the Syrian and Iranian personnel stationed in the Bekaa?

The bulk of Hizbullah’s best fighters are stationed in the Bekaa Valley, being too valuable to risk in any stand-up fight with the IDF. The small sized operations carried out by the IDF prior to today netted only several hundred of the estimated 3,000 of these crack troops. Most analysts believed that in order for the IDF to really hurt Hizbullah, some kind of Bekaa operation was an absolute necessity.

Is this a raid? Or are these troops the vanguard of a major thrust aimed at the heart of Hizbullah? And what about any stray Syrians or Iranians? What would be the consequences of the IDF busting up any kind of logistical and/or intel operations being carried out by the terrorist’s patrons?

The next 48 hours will be the most crucial in this war. They will probably answer the questions above as well as decide the question of how serious the Israelis are about winning through to a decisive victory.

The more I hear and read about current and past Muslim activities, the more I dispise the wicked religion called Islam. I know that it is not popular to trash this "religion of peace," but the history of this religion is one of non-stop conquest, murder and destruction of any and all who oppose it. Sorry that I am not PC about this, but if this religion was never hatched up by Muhammad, then civilization would never have had the pleasure of having suffered through its unrelenting and unbending hatred over the centuries, and wouldn't be trying to stop its THIRD attempt to control the world now.

"...but if this religion was never hatched up by Muhammad..."

Ever think that if the Israelites lead by Joshua had followed God's direction upon entering Canaan (the promise land) that none of this would be happening today? Then again, if Eve hadn't been deceived...

The reality is we are faced with a grave situation in the form of radical Islam. The way we were able to stop the Nazi child indoctrination camps was by defeating their military. In radical Islam we do not face a national government and army, we face a religion that is pan-national.

At one point I was in favor of the overwhelming military force avenue and take out such cities as Mecca and Medina to force the "resaonable" Muslims to become involved to reign in their radical brethren. I'm no longer convinced that is the solution. I do not know what the solution is, other than to continue to fight them at every place they appear. They must not get a moments rest, and their infrastructure and logistics must be destroyed. That said, I have no idea how to define thier infrastructure and logisitcs so as to destroy it.

Compounding our fight is the internal fights between Shi'ite, Sunni, Shia, etc. Islam knows no peace within itself. How can we expect it to be peaceful without?

In my mind there is no doubt that Satan is in the center if Islam. Too many of his fingerprints are on the Qur'an and Haditha for him not to be involved. We need to be calling upon the one power capable of stopping radical Islam every day in prayer.

When Hugh Hewitt asked Martin Peretz,
a Democrat, if he wanted Democrats to win
House and Senate majorities in the next election,
he honestly and with self-admitted cowardice,
refused to answer. Here then.is…

A Cowardly Refusal to Answer

Or A Serious Democrat’s Lament

By Tarzana Joe

For years, I served my party’s goals

Walked precincts over red hot coals

Whispered when I was youthful

Spoke out when it was truthful

Shouted as I got bolder

Spoke eloquent when I was older

Stuffed envelopes with grey-haired ladies

And marched when it was hot as Hades

Ate rubber chicken every night

Because I knew that WE were right

Did everything and all I could for

I believed what my party stood for

Now as the next election looms

I wander through the smoke-filled rooms

And think above the growing din

Do I really want these guys to win?

Are candidates I’ll put in power

Worthy of this desperate hour?

Who like drunkards on a binge

Got cosy with the nutter fringe

And who, before the job is done

Believe we ought to cut and run?

Alas, I think my side is filled

With folks who’re going to get us killed

And so when asked whom I would choose

To speak, I cowardly refuse

At last, all I can say is that

It’s tough to be a Democrat.

"Old Soldier, I cannot agree more that Satan is at the center of Islam. I think Johnny believes that too, based on conversations we've had, but believes that not every individual Muslim has Satan at his center."

Amy, I have a problem trying to reconcile those two statements. If Satan is the center of Islam, and Islam (allah) is the center of Muslims' life, where does that place Satan? To me it's obvious.

I agree that Satan hasn't instigated hatred in all Muslims' hearts and caused them to rise up with the vile hatred of Hezbollah, Hamas, al-Qaida, etc., but if allah is the center of their life, even if it is quiet and non-radical, then Satan has them on the road to Hell and isn't too concerned about them. Remember, wide is the road to destruction and narrow is the path to righteousness.
August 5, 2006 | Unregistered CommenterOld Soldier
Old Soldier, I'm simply saying that although Satan may be the the author of Islam, not every Muslim willingly undertakes a Satanic endeavor in his religion. Muslims grow up engulfed in what they are taught. This doesn't excuse any particular behavior, but can explain the acceptance of some actions justified via Islam.
August 5, 2006 | Unregistered CommenterAmy Proctor
Whether or not Muslims have Satan at the center of their hearts or not is irrelevant. The religion of Islam is a threat to humanity no matter who you want to give credit too. Satan is obviously at the heart of not just Islam but many world religions, and many no-religions. But the fact remains these are people who believe, wrongly of course, but believe nonetheless in a god who commands them to kill the "evil" Christians and Jews. True, not all Muslims do this, but the faith itself is a threat to humanity, and therefore must be fought on all fronts. That includes the "innocent" Muslims who don't harm anyone. I know I'm always gung ho about the war on terror, but it also strikes me that evangelism is our best weapon. Too many Christians dismiss this as "there's no converting a Muslim." Bull. God can do it if he has the workers. I say we show peaceful Muslims all the charred pieces of the terrorist Islamofascists that we blow up and explain: "This is what awaits you..."

In any event, Hezbollah, Hamas, AL Quada, Taliban...any "faith" that demands the deaths of innocent civillians must be wiped out. Its too dangerous to keep them alive.
