Photographic evidence of runaway global warming! When the weather is cold in the winter and hot in the summer, it is proof that our climate has been fouled up beyond all recovery by Halliburton.
Really!
It's snowing here in the heartland of America. What's it like where you are?
A snow bunny at heart, I can't get enough of winter photos. Thank you Amy.
Send some of it down Shreveport's way!!!
AubreyJ.........
It's snowing here in Virginia too - our first snow since last winter.
I'm in Florida... what's that white stuff? ;-)
Cool photo! :)
Simply beautiful! btw Amy I do like your new profile photo :-)
Beautiful photo, Amy. We didn't get much snow, but we got an abundance of ice. One poor local woman's car slid into the flooded creek and she drowned, may God rest her soul.
I have a video you might want to watch regarding global warming. In fact, a couple of them. :)
The Dems control Congress, Hillary has announced she's in, Obama is running as well, it's going to be great watching Dubya squirm during his State of the Union address... Life is GREAT!!!!
It's hard to believe that under that beautiful exterior lies the ice cold heart of warmonger. So much for "sugar n' spice and everything nice".
It's 57 degrees right now...hee hee
It's hard to believe that some people can't manage to keep their vitriolic hatred to themselves, even on a lovely post such as this.
It's been so hot and humid here that I can't stand it. I sooo want winter back - wanna swap?
Beautiful here, about 66 for a high – last few weeks it was cold – below freezing. Awesome photo.

I wouldn't want to upset the typical tone of the blog, y'know.
Hmmm, how come Quint and Twister have almost the same IP? What's up with all these anonymous commentors from the NY area? Are liberals really THAT afraid of identifying themselves? I don't get it. I never hide behind anonymity. Oh, well. In my defense, once you get to know me I'm quite charming. :)
Aimz, I was thinking about you when I was out in the freezing snowstorm. It snows a lot in this part of the country and I love it here. It's gorgeous all the time no matter the season. I'll keep winter for now, Aimz, but maybe we can swap seasons when it's summer here??
Karen, I thought it snowed in FL last week, didn't it?
Perhaps Quint, Twister and C. George are a hydra, since we're exchanging "burns" and utilizing imagery. You cut one head off, and two sprout out to replace it. Ha ha!
P.S.
I forgot to say Amy, that when I first glanced at that picture, it looked like a bench floating in deep space! Squint your eyes and the snowflakes look like stars! =)
rebel mama, maybe I should have used a different photo!
C George et al, I was uncomfortable with the direction of the last few comments so I deleted them. I think it's beneath all of us.
Very cold, rainy, but no snow!!! I am so disappointed, they had snow forecasted this past Saturday and we got zip!
I WANT SNOW!
That is an awesome photograph. I thought it was a painting at first. :)
At 4:13 p.m. here at Eielson AFB it is about 5-below and getting dusk. It was a beautiful day! I love pictures of benches :) Nice one.
You deleted some comments because they were beneath you? Good for you, Amy. It proves you have class! :)
We had more snow this weekend, but now the sun is shining and can get to work melting as much as possible before nightfall...when it will freeze up on the streets. I'm glad for the sun, but so tired of snow. Leticia, please take it all. :-)
Cold, but not near as beautiful as the photo.
Gayle, I hate to see visitors sling mud.
I love it here. It's below freezing but the snow stays so white while the streets are warm and melt, so its not dangerous to drive.
In Minnesota we have had a warmer than normal winter.
I think Orlando did get a light dusting a couple of weeks ago. The only other time it "snowed" here that I remember is Christmas of '89... and that was really more ice than snow...
