Another Bush-Bashing Montel Show
Saturday, January 27, 2007 at 12:07AM Montel Williams is at it again. I appeared on his TV show in New York City in September 2006 and was appalled at how openly unfair he and his guests like Jesse Jackson were to President Bush. It’s not just about the war in Iraq and the war on terror, it’s about hating Bush.
Today the Montel Williams show was a bash-Bush fiesta titled “What’s America Talking About?”. The guest line up included MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough, aka Benedict Arnold, Republicans Cheri Jacobus and Amy Holmes (who appeared with me in September), actor/activist and apparent foreign policy expert Morgan Fairchild, along with some disgruntled guests who have a beef with military life and the President.
Ms. Underestimated caught the horrid episode on video. I don’t recommend watching the whole thing. In fact, the introduction gives a pretty good idea of what you can expect throughout the program and if you don’t feel nauseated, you may be able to tolerate the rest. Montel’s bedside manner leaves a lot to be desired and the factual errors rattled off with a straight face are inexcusable.

This show was ridiculous. No sources are cited, no facts to back up ridiculous claims, errors galore, and since when is Morgan Fairchild qualified to talk about foreign policy and military affairs?
The armchair quarterbacking America is doing would be funny if it weren’t so dangerous. It is spectacles such as this that literally embolden our enemy... and they are laughing at us.

I have no intention of watching Montel. I quit watching his show a long time ago and only watched one episode because you were on it. Actually, I watched the video you posted. That's the last of Montel I've seen, except in commercials, and I like it that way!
His show is - in its own way - as bad as "The View"!
Amy, I learned a long time ago not to listen to political rantings of the majority of those in the entertainment industry.Most of them are so disgustingly immoral in their life-styles and so radically socialist/communist in their thinking that it just isn't funny.
They are no more qualified to act as political or social role models than was Hitler or Saddam. Personally, I wish they would keep their views to themselves and stick to doing whatever it is they do.
The vast majority of todays actors and actresses are so pathetically untalented compared to those of years past, such as Anthony Quinn, Sir Lawarence Oliver,Helen Hayes,Katheren Hepburn, etc. Compare the Emmy Awards shows of today with those of the 1960's, back in the 50's,60's and even the 70's, those who attended the awards as well as those who won, dressed in formal gowns and the men in Tuxedos and they conducted themselves in a refind manor. Today, the women dress like "sluts" and the men like bums. They seem to try and out do each other in filthy talk and in putting down America (unless of course the democrats are in power).So, they can Bush bash or put down conservatives and Christians all they like, I just consider the source and realize that they are suffering from "diarea of the mouth".
I used to have a lot of respect for this man, but lately - even for Sylvia - I can't stomach him. I flipped it on when I got home yesterday and saw Joe on there and flipped it to Fox News and put Hannity on the 'puter. Its so sad that such supposedly intelligent people, and someone that does a lot of good for people, can have such darkness inside them.
I came across your site, Amy, as I was looking for something else. It's nice that you keep up with the media news. Have you ever considered going to channels like Democracy Now or Link T.V.? Do you research political and social events around the world?As young and smart as you are...you could gain a new and open perspective of what's really going on in the world...then do extensive "neutral" research, (history, religion, social problems, reasons for world hunger and regugees) and you'll find a new perspective on the word "terrorist." Montel Williams has done just that and he's astounded at the real truth of the matter. I hope you do the same. Someone as bright as you shouldn't have to look back and realize how closed off you are to the real truth of the Bush admn. and it's havoc on the rest of the world. It's not too late for you to become a truthseeker...however...it's a trememdous amount of work and research...not to mention how devastating it is to find the atrocities enacted by our county as "FACTS."

Yes, Follywood and Court Jestors. The leaders of opinion today. Our youth, young adults and to many mature adults follow Court Jestors for entertainment and ideas of responsibility. It is sad. But they're the type who naturally gravitate to self-absorbed worlds of Me, Me, ME! This is the new world where children are smarter than parents, Comedians smarter than veterans of foreign affairs. Where America is evil, terrorist are "freedom fighters" although these scum are paid for by Iran and Syria, financiers of Saudis, etc.
Conservatives, usually do not seek the limelight of self-adulation and camera's flashing. Most do not need the feedback of millions to understand "You really love me." They only need the Lord's love and salvation, love of family, and close friends.
Seeking fame is not usually the cause of conservatives. So its not surprising that we have arrogant, self-aggrandized, dimwitted, angry, rebellious fools on TV espousing everything from acme skin cleaner to how to fight terrorist on gossip talk shows without any clue if Al Qaeda is Sunni or Shia. Oh wait, that is our new Democrat Chairman of Intelligence! My Bad! So, where was I. Oh yes, angry Comedians rule the roost in such affairs. Whining, waaah, waaah, waaah thru our TV sets into our living rooms. Spouting lunatic phrases such as, "Americans are tired of the war" without any truth in reality except that lazy, TV fed fools(thats many Americans) that watch them, actually believe they're tired of what, TV news?

This is the selfish generation, Me-First, you second generation. The "I'll do anything I want to" generation. They know little of true "hard times" of standing in lines for bread, our own history, of culture, of past wars, of deception of the enemy, or of world history and the fact the war we're in has been going on for over 1400 years. Most live in a happy delusion of what the world "should be" and listening to Oprah, Montel, the ViewHenFights, and whatever other deluded, selfish, senseless media adorns the airwaves night after night, day in day out.
Having grown up in TV happy land, in a city, where you can get burgers or chicken nuggets 24/7, or have pizza delivered to your door. They can't understand 80% of the worlds population to just have heat during the winter, fresh water and food once a week sometimes. Or that by allowing Tyrants to rule and oppress these people, that it produces the terrorist that want to kill us.
That you cannot just throw money at the worlds poor. You have to get rid of corrupt leaders and build nations with leaders who actually care about the people.
There is no such thing as respect for other's opinions. Especially respect of a Christian opinion, unless of course you're a liberal Christian. It is obvious those who reject God are smarter, those who accept a savior, are dumb.
Having given themselves over to lust of the world, they will be left to succor in the world to come and eat of its fruits.
There is a price to pay every time we turn away. We learned this from Hitler to Osama. We should all be awake now against Iran and the terrorist who plot our downfall. Cold War days are over. There is a new, ongoing war against us.
And it does not matter how many Follywood actors, Media talking heads and angry, sarcastic Comedians hate our President, hate conservatives, hate Jesus, hate religion, hate red states and think they're intellectual charms will rule the day. They will not. We still have a vicious enemy that hates Follywood even more, that hates homosexuals and lesbians and routinely kills them every day in their countries, that hate our society and culture of freedom and would kill, destroy and torture these same talking fools today if given the chance.
The only think standing between the ideological hatred of our enemy and Follywood Media are the very people they put down every single day with insults and jokes.
They should be careful what they wish for. Maybe one day, our military will just walk away and allow the Comedians, the Follywood actors, the Talking heads to talk to the enemy directly and negotiate a "deal" not to kill them.
Academic Pursuit, Amy is most likely too obsessed and deluded by her apparent political affiliations, in order to be able to or even consider thinking outside of that metaphoric box. It must be an earth shattering surprise for some these pot bangers to consider the existance of people who could care less about political affiliations. How most of these people conclude that they will somehow be shown the door to the kingdom of Jesus or otherwise benefit from obsessively supporting these corporate driven vote hogging juggernauts is incomprehensible.

There seems to be a lot of Americans jumping on the white-flag-waving retreat-in-defeat band wagon crossing America, led by elected officials. There is of course several things wrong with this band wagon.

There's Roxie spouting off about the "real majority", that delusion that Jerry Falwell put into the minds of Republicans that the majority of Americans are conservative and that someday they will rise up and take America back in the name of Christ and morality. Give it up. There is no "moral majority" because everyone's morals are different. Even individual Christians interpret the Bible differently and each has there own moral code, which is as it should be, instead of relying on some pastor or preacher to tell them how it should be interpreted. There are many people who tell me that priests should not be involved with political issues, but when political issues or the actions of politicians involve morality and the teachings of the Church, then priests have every right and moral obligation to get involved.
We live in a time when morally bankrupt politicians and entertainers like to get in "our face" with their political correctness and when they get in mine, that is when I fire back and damn political correctness.

What was the result? Clinton was impeached, but was allowed to remain in office. The only "punishment" he faced was to have his law license revoked, and he was given a hefty fine. He never had to pay the fine or his legal bills out of his own pocket because he and his wife Hillary held fund raisers to raise the money. To this day, he still travels around the country campaigning for his wife and he shamelessly travels the world getting involved in global politics.
At the time of his first election to the Presidency, it was a well known fact that he was not only a draft dodger, but that during the Vietnam War; he had gone to Russia and protested against the United States. Both he and Hillary never missed an opportunity to let the public know how much they detested the military. They are both heavily involved in socialist causes and believe in a "One World" Government. Now his wife is seeking to become president, so lets take a look at her:
Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-New York): She is the wife of former President Bill Clinton. Hillary was involved in several scandals while she was the First Lady, and while her husband was governor of Arkansas. These included the "White Water" land deal in Arkansas, missing records from the Rose Law firm, which she denied any knowledge of, then they mysteriously turned up on a table out side of her office in the White House and there was here involvement in the White House Travel Office Scandal. She was NEVER held to account on any of these charges and she refuses to give any explanations of them. She ran for the senate, won and was just re-elected. She has plans to run for the Presidency in 2008. And guess what, you liberals WILL vote for her.
I can go on and on naming one Liberal Democrat after another who has been involved in criminal activity and one act of gross immorality after another and has never been held accountable or forced out of office, so people like you and Ms. Pelosi,should look in your own backyard before you start accusing the Republicans of being corrupt, because at least they do the honorable thing and resign and hang their heads in shame.
Democrats always deny any wrong doing, never resign from office and they keep getting re-elected, which speaks volumes of the moral compass of those who keep re-electing them. And the Democrats NEVER show shame or remorse. Why was Clinton a HECKUVA better president then Bush? Was it because he brought sleeze to the Oval Office and gave new meaning to "Internal Affairs"? Don't forget, all of the big corporate scandals started under the Clinton administration, such as ENRON. They were all fudging their books while Clinton was President and that is why the economy was "doing so good". After he left office, that is when the proverbial "S$%T" hit fan and all of the corporate scandals came to light.
As far as November's election, the Democrats didn't win by that much, and they can be voted right back out.

I haven't even read through most of the comments yet, but Mavic, you're totally wrong. How does a person exploit search engine technics? I have no idea what you're talking about. Johnny's just sticking up for me I guess, and I love him for it, but anyone who knows me knows I'm not phony and I'm not interested in fake ratings. I also get a lot more than 7,000 hits a week.
There are some really crappy blogs that get a lot of hits and great ones that get hardly any. Hits mean nothing in that regard.

"Mavic" can't even follow the simple rules fore posting here - he/she/it has no credible url and no email address. And Amy has NEVER promoted herself or participated in any stat inflating gimmicks. Why do liberals hide from their identity? Why are they so ashamed of themselves that they cannot admit who they are? I don't get it.
I lost any interest in Montel's show back in the mid 90's. I'll never forget the 17-year-old teenage boy who broke down crying after his girlfriend revealed to him that she had already aborted their baby - the one the boy wanted to raise. Montel rudely rebuked the boy for crying, telling him that he had no right to cry and that it was his girlfriends "choice."

Johnny, unlike Amy, I have a real job, so I can't spend all my time keeping up with a blog. I'm an entrepreneur taking advantage of the American Dream that the Bush administration makes possible by defending my freedom by launching a war in...Iraq. I mean it's common knowledge that if Bush & Cheney weren't on the job that terrorists would be crossing the great oceans and invading this country in droves. It's perplexing to me how Amy, who supposedly has 4 kids to keep up with, has time to do all this research and spew all this Bush-worship and warmongering. Or are you the parents of those two blonde girls who sing about white supremecy? I thought so.

I haven't been invited to speak on any talk shows, nor would I want to. Montel is a joke, he always was. Was Amy so desperate for publicity that she would agree to appear on that piece-of-crap show? So much for conservatives not wanting to bask in the limelight. If she's such a great pundit then why hasn't she shown up on Limbaugh? Hannity & Colmes? Fox News?
Amy's awards are all military-oriented certificates of appreciation. Big deal. She's a military wife (as she likes to ceaselessly remind everyone, like she's the only one in existence), I'm sure just about every military wife who does anything for the division can get a certificate of appreciation. I don't see any awards from The National Press Club, from the Republican National Committee, or any other more highly-prestigious organizations.

The term "ghetto babies": Highly racist remark. If Ruth is a conservative then that must mean she's Pro Life. So, she would decry the right for a woman to have an abortion one minute...and then use the term "ghetto babies" toward those very children who were not aborted, born to those in abject poverty. If Ruth is so "Pro Life" then maybe she and her husband could put her money where her big mouth is and take some of these poor children into her own home and raise them properly. I mean, since these children weren't aborted and have been born into squallor, without a father and mothers who do crack and such then good ol' Ruth is the lady for the job here!
Oh, and on the topic of why I don't bother to register my e-mail address, it's because I don't want Amy & Johnny to go distributing who I am to the nationwide system of right-wing extremists who would then fill my e-mail in-box with all sort of hate-filled BS. My identity is not important. What I have to say is, and even though I disagree with the Proctors' philosophy and beliefs, even THEIR remarks, as misguided as they are, are important and should never be hindered, censored, or deleted in any way. Hobson, a ghetto baby can be anywhere. ghetto is an attitude and a lifestyle. You can be poor and not be ghetto. You can have money and still be ghetto. The fact is that these little ghetto babies are meal tickets for most of these girls. These kids are not up for adoption until their irresponsible parents have ruined them.

And for your information, there are many Orthodox Churches here in the United States and around the world that are not directly connect to any of the main patriarchates, but that does not make us or them any less Orthodox.

None of them are living in my home. But, then again, I support a woman's right to abortion and I support the use of birth control. Abstinance teaching is all good and well but if it was all that effective then we wouldn't have this problem of so many out-of-wedlock births. Premarital sex, extramarital affairs, and all other sorts of sexual deviency exists in all levels of society, from the well-to-do to royalty, from atheists to pastors, so don't pretend that abstinance is the ultimate answer. "Sluts", as you call them, exist in impoverished places, among the rich, and in our churches, however hushed-up it may be. Illigitimate births and abortions are NOT the only options in life, Ruth, but unwanted pregnancies will always be a part of the world and I think it better to promote birth control and distribute condoms than to simply try to frighten our young into believing that they will burn in Hell for the sin of sex. And yes, I am a bit racist. I can admit it. Most people are racists in some degree or other but won't admit because it's not socially acceptable.

As a guest on the Montel Show, I was surprised when watching it to see they had edited out more than half of my comments -- most of which were pretty significant and made good points in rebuttal to Montel. The show that aired had little resemblance to what actually transpired during the taping.
Cheri, first, welcome. Secondly, when I appeared on the show, it was the same situation. Sadly, Montel isn't a very professional host because he preaches to his guests and takes up most of the air time.

I'll put my money on the fact that the Congressional majority will find plenty of impeachable offenses during their investigations. Impeachment will never happen to Bush because he hasn't committed any crime. Period. I was fine with the Nixon impeachment. All Presidents who break the law in office should be impeached. President Bush doesn't fit that bill.
