Commerce in Baghdad Thrives
Sunday, October 21, 2007 at 04:28PM Baghdad's economy is thriving as businesses that have been in the family for generations are back on the streets operating. Grocers, carpenters and bakers are returning to the marketplace as life returns to normal.

The only businesses really suffering now are the cemeteries, which was reported last week as "bad news for Iraq". Thank Amy for continuing to bring us the truth.
As Mike Totten has pointed out many times the Arabs are very entreprenuerial businessmen and women and a very open friendly people, islamists are not, and they like to smoke.
What? No comments from the anti-war nuts? I guess you can't deny what you see, eh?
