Condi Wins the Battle of the Broads

It was a clash between class and the ass as another deranged Code commie-Pinko assaulted the Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice yesterday as she testified on the Hill on foreign relations. Condi stared down the Code Nutcase with an "oh, give me a break" look, but this confrontation was scary.

The question here isn’t about the right to free speech, it’s about security and public law. How close to a national incident are we willing to let these fruitcakes, who do not deserve to be in the same room as a Condoleeza Rice, get before something violent happens? How can security be so lax at these meetings with our national leaders?

scary.jpgMy experience counterprotesting anti-war nuts (like Women in Black and generic anti-war hippies, which I did for two years) showed these people to be volatile, unstable, unbalanced and on the edge of violence. We’ve been threatened, pushed into oncoming traffic, accosted, screamed profanity at and nearly punched in the face for standing on our corner of the block supporting the troops.

Why are the public disturbance laws not enforced at these committee hearings? Code Pink is a repeat offender and a restraining order should be taken out against the entire group. There is a nice sidewalk in front of the building for them to protest on like the rest of us, why are they allowed into the building when their self-described intent is to disrupt?

French Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner handled Code Pink in September when they crashed his conference in Washington, calling the pinko's "stupid".

condi should have dropped the b----, the word I've heard is the pinkos get invites from liberal congressmen and senators to the hearings so the drive-by media can get their bits.

This IS scary... these leftie loon a$$hats should not have been allowed in the building. Like you said, Amy, they can protest outside to their hippie hearts' content.

These people still think it's 1968.

Glad you posted on this. I saw the images elsewhere and my first thought was, how it could be that such loonies can get within even 10 yards of such a senior administration official.

The Secretary of State has been to Australia at least a couple of times that I know of. On one occasion, she was within several hundred metres of my workplace and I felt an urge to go and greet her, simply to say Good Morning Madam Secretary or Doctor Rice whatever, she was too a former Professor of Political Science at Stanton. Soon thought the better of it realizing that I would not get within a stones throw given the security.

So back to the question, how can such fruit loops get so close in the first place?

Apparently those sessions are open to the public because they are, after all, elected officials (Senators and Congressmen) and the hearings include representatives of our government.

Fair enough. I'm tracking.

But why when it's undeniably clear that their sole purpose is to disrupt the peace are they continually let in? They break the law, which is why they're carted away, and yet they are always granted access. They are given tickets by the Democrats to the State of the Union addresses just to make an undignified commotion and disrupt the session. They did this when Iraqi PM Nouri al-Maliki spoke to the Congress. It sets a terrible precedent.

What about a three strikes and you're out clause? I don't get it. These are repeat offenders. What the hell?

They're making a mockery of democracy. This is why our enemies laugh at us. The thing we try to promote in other countries is the thing that makes us look like a fool for doing it.

Why do groups like CodePink and such get away with this? Because they're Democrats...and when you're a Democrat, it's *just* different.

These people don't care about the troops, or anything else regarding the security and sovereignty of this nation. All they care about is implementing their Marxist ideologies.

And here we all are supposed to believe liberals are a tolerant, diverse group?

Yeah, right.

Sooner or later someone will get hurt or worse and things will change. In a Democracy, one is supposed to be able to move about and not live in fear. But we live in a new age and blind toleration is the order of the day. Being a prominent person whether actor, judge, or politician is a guarantee the loonies will find you and ,guess what, they have a message for you!
Have a good weekend!

simply stated it is called a double standard, a product of the concept of political correctness being practiced now. and it can be traced back to the concept of the Dominant/ minority society and its solutions as perceived.

October 26, 2007 | Unregistered CommenterThe Griper

I would have loved to see Condi cold-cock her! Yes... I know she's every inch a lady and wouldn't do that, but I sure would have! These people try to intimidate and they need to be intimidated back. You're right, Amy. They have no business being able to get that close and I too believe that the entire group should be banned from these hearings. That they are not shows that the public disturbance laws are being violated, but even more than that it puts our officials at risks they shouldn't have to deal with. That woman might have had a knife, and if they are not stopped from attending such hearings, it's only a matter of time before someone gets hurt!

It's a powerful picture that is worth a thousand words. It actually makes CR look like a brainless follower of an illegal and violent agenda

October 26, 2007 | Unregistered Commentererasmus

You're kidding, right erasmus? At least Condi Rice can string more than 2 words together like the Code Pinko commie babe. "War Criminal! War Criminal? War Criminal!" What was priceless was Rice's look into the vacant glare of the CP commie babe's eyes. Condi won that confrontation hands down.

No one with any sense or sincerity can say Rice looks "brainless." That's just an impotent attempt to malign but it makes the name caller sound stupid, not the Secretary of State.

October 26, 2007 | Unregistered CommenterAmy P

Condalizza Rice is easily the most powerful woman in the world...

And oh by the way, she's BLACK and REPUBLICAN...

LOL! Libs just don't get it.

I have nothing but deep admiration for the Secretary of State. Pure class.

October 26, 2007 | Unregistered Commenterjohnny

I agree. Pure class. She showed dignity, restraint and strength of character. I also agree with Amy's consternation about our incredible lack of security here. Heads should roll.

But, there's something else at play here. A blatant but undeniable irony. Can there be any question any longer who the real fascists are in our midst? They are employing exactly the same tactics that the Nazis used so effectively in the early Thirties: Disrupt the opposition's meetings, shout them down, hurl insults at them, intimate them and finally, if all that fails to shut them up, bring in the Brownshirts. And, we must remember, the Nazis were ultimately successful using these techniques.

But all of this only begs the question -- Where have all the grownups gone? Who the hells in charge. Where are all those responsible authority figures? The inmates are running the asylum. These self-centered, self-righteous intellectual thugs are disrupting the Halls of Congress, the lecture halls of our prestigious Universities, even desicrating our most solemn funerals for our fallen heroes.

We cannot run this democracy of ours if people cannot speak out in public, or worse, if people are afraid to speak to speak at all for fear of bodily harm.

This must not be allowed to continue. Somehow we have to get the grownups back to take charge. But where have they all gone to?

A Nov. 15 2007 AP story indicates Chevron was fined $30M by the SEC for bribing Saddams’s thugs in the “oil for food” deal and that Chevron may face tax evasion charges later. The bribes were in the millions so someone pretty high up at Chevron had to sign off on the payments. Unfortunately the AP story did not mention Dr. Condoleezza Rice the Chevron board member and the chairman of the “Public Policy Committee” which is responsible for making sure this kind of activity does not happen.

The Chevron website says the committee’s purposes include “identifying, evaluating and monitoring social, political and environmental trends, issues and concerns”, “analyzing how public policy trends could impact business activities and performance". Dr. Rice never discussed the Iraqi bribes on the record (not in the minutes) at company meetings. That should not surprise anyone who is familiar with her lack of response to 911 warnings.

President Clinton put sanctions on Iraq. Actions by Chevron and Rice clearly violated those sanctions and amount to treason. I urge our new Attorney General Michael Mukasey and California Attorney General Jerry Brown determine who at Chevron authorized the millions in bribes.
