Kids happy = parents happy = kids happy = peace may be breaking out in Bagdad. More damning evidence that the surge is not working.
Gary, you got it! When parents start taking their children out to a wide open park to play, you know they feel safe.
It's still a war and there will undoubtedly be a resurgence in violence, but Iraqis are working hard to overcome their traumatizing past and band together to defend their country. Good for them! I completely support their endeavors and pray for peace in their future.
