Kucinich Tries to Impeach Cheney While Congress Holds Up Appropriated Funds to Military

Democratic Congressman Dennis Kucinich brought a resolution to the floor to impeach Vice-President Dick Cheney based on “high crimes and misdemeanors” and “fabricating intelligence” in leading the country to war deposing Saddam Hussein. It was an unbelievable day of politics as the loony left tried and failed to manipulate Republicans and impeach the VP.

At the end of the report on Fox News’ Brit Hume’s Special Report, Bret Baier  reported that the White House claims Congress is wasting time and hasn’t sent even one appropriations bill to the President’s desk.  In the meantime, Kucinick's spending time with his child's nutty godmother Shirely McClain spotting UFOs, questioning the President's mental health and bringing baseless legislation to the floor of the House.

I’m a federal contractor here at Fort Leavenworth, KS. I see first hand, day in and day out, the damage the Congress’ lolly-gagging does on real business. We don’t have the funds to buy necessary materials and equipment to function. This is the most effective and ethical Congress in history? I don’t think so. It’s the most retarded.

I’d suggest Congress stop pretending to work hard and actually start doing it, for all our sakes, particularly in the military. They say they support the troops but won't pass military appropriations bills.  Well, Democratic Congressmen, military families are waiting.

Amazing how Cheney managed to fool Intelligence agencies the world over, isn't it?

why, oh why do the people vote Idiots like Kucinich into office? then, why, oh why does the Dem. leadership let a fool like this speak in public? congress is going to see single digit approval rating pretty soon.

1/2 way through this debacle the Republicans wised up and made fools of the Democrats, backing the debate rather than tabeling it. Dems were mortified! What great theater. If the whacked out Democrats keep this up they'll lose in '08 for sure.

Is there a better example of the meaning of self-destruction and self-denial than what the Dems and Libs have shown since the last election?

It would have been REALLY GREAT (and funny) THEATER if this would have come up for debate, I'd have loved to see Kucinich's "evidence of high crimes", that would have been funny. He's a real entertainer... come to think of it, if disney is planning a new Dumbo film in the future, He'd be great for the lead role, possessing both physical and intellectual qualities for the part....

The Ds have this ineluctable problem: their positions and efforts and goals are all contra-factual. Reality bites, and the bleeding has begun.
