82nd Airborne is "Better Than Everyone Else"

Bottom Line Up Front: Paratroopers of the 82nd Airborne Division are the Army’s cream of the crop.

In February 2004, insurgents began using car bombs and EIDs in the al-Rashid district of Baghdad and stepped up the violence. Why? The 82nd Airborne Division, 2nd Brigade Infantry Regiment redeployed to Fort Bragg and left the area. Paratroopers are known for being the best of the best. One look from an airborne infantryman is enough to make an insurgent pee in his pants.

Troops of the 3rd Brigade, 82nd ABN DIV in Iraq is setting the standard. In this clip, PFC Misteretta says reluctantly but truthfully that the 82nd has that higher standard and level of training that “makes us better than everyone else.”

Got that right. ALL THE WAY!

Nice to see that some things never change. It's also sad that their losses in Afghanistan and Iraq are mounting. All the way!

Cop the Truth, what is truly amazing is that even under these circumstances, men still join to fight in the GWOT. They are pretty amazing.

I will challenge that notion and put them to the test against the mighty 10th Mountain Division (LI), anytime, anywhere!!!

I am one to tell you that the 82nd Abn Div is the best of the best.....we have set the standard for decades... at this moment me and my husband are currently fighting the war on terrorism...he is miles away but we are still fighting together (something to tell our future kids) if i had been assigned to a different division i would not feel as safe and secure coming over here knowing that i would not have the protection that the 82nd provides...
we are the strongest ...the fastest....and the most strategic in and out war....thats why the enemy shivers at the ound of us marching into their grounds we are feared no one will defeat us....
