Jack Androski Leaves Wall Street for Army

Bottom Line Up Front: Jack Androski left a successful life as a Wall Street commodities trader to become a soldier in the United States Army after the life altering events of 9/11.

Jack Androski, who’s earned 2 Masters Degrees, used to be a commodities trader on Wall Street in New York City . 9/11 changed all that and now he’s CPL Jack Androski (E-4) in the United States Army and is serving in Iraq.

He was converted by the events of 9/11 and even though he was initially against the invasion into Iraq now says that the United States is the dominate player for change in Iraq. Watch the amazing story of this humble man as he transforms from successful Wall Street business man to an enlisted soldiers, helping Iraqis in an inspiring counterinsurgency operation.

Ooh-rah!! Semper Fi to him

Actually, it's HOOAH! Notice CPL Androski isn't a Kerry-soldier, dumb, uneducated and in Iraq? He followed his heart and took his two Masters degrees with him.

Amy -- This man followed his heart!

I know I'm a posting late, but I wanted to say I am delighted Cindy Sheenan has gone home. My prediction: She will write a book and make money off all of this. I could be wrong, time will tell.

Of all mysteries of life, the greatest mystery of all is: Why are so many elected officials walking around Washington D.C. singing to themselves, "If I only had a brain." It reminds of a movie I watched once. Can't those leaders see people like this fine soldier need their support?

Good question, Roxie. Sadly, many politicians in DC don't really care about the troops. Their actions speak louder than words. I wish we would elevate people such as CPL Androski based soley on their humility, service and experience.

Great to know that there's still hope for our countries morals and values!

Someone mentioned Kerry - yep - the man's totally out of touch with reality. Keeping the difference in intelligence, character, education, standards and devotion that exist in a volunteer military - as opposed to a bunch of people FORCED to serve or stay in school as during Vietnam?!?

Iraq is nothing like Vietnam Kerry - Vietnam was a forever UN sanctioned project left to us by France.

Jack Androski is one of the men with insight enough to realize that it took the United States from 1776 - 1783 to pull all the loose ends together between different factions, aids to different sides, etc. This is NOT a "mini-series" this is a fight for democracy and freedom.

Yeah, when are you guys signing up?

May 31, 2007 | Unregistered Commentermudkitty

mud, I guess it would be a ridiculous question to ask when you will be signing up. You support abortion rights.... how many abortions have you had? If you aren't currently having an abortion, shame on you for not supporting your mission statement.

My husband is active duty 14 years now. Our whole family serves, thank you.
