Viggo Mortensen Endorses Kucinich for President

Hollywood actor Viggo Mortensen endorses Democrat Dennis Kucinich for President 2008 and spoke with Fox’s Hannity and Colmes about it last night after the GOP Debate from New Hampshire. Mortenson, who may be most well known for his role in the Lord of the Rings trilogy as Aragorn, praised Fox and Sean Hannity for having the dialogue and discussing the issues in a way that many other news channels won’t.

Here's a small surprise: wacky actor Viggo Mortensen has joined The Nation in endorsing the sickly and demented elf Dennis Kucinich for President. In the olden days, Hollywood actors showed their support for the troops by picking up a rifle...

And to think I used to believe Viggo was hot. Forgive me please.

AHhhh...NOOO! Not Viggo, *tears* Minus the hairy face, he is still a good looking man, misguided as he is.

I must be totally out of the loop but I have never heard of Kucinich?

Doesn't surprise me a bit. I've discovered that there is NO one in Hollywood who can be counted on to be politically reasonable. They're all drinking the Kool Aid that supports their livestyles. It's that simple.

Leticia, one of the things Viggo talks about when speaking with Kucinich is how the big time media overlooks the Kucinich candidacy, so it isn't surprising you haven't heard of him. He's a Senator, really wacky... he believes in UFOs and was mentioned in Shirely McLaine's book about a UFO sighting. I'm serious!

Kucinich's ace in the hole is the impeachment card. He led a very unsuccessful charge for impeachment first against Cheney and then against Bush. He's really wacky, but as you can see by the video he can be nice and charming, as long as you don't talk to him about the war in Iraq, Bush or Cheney.

As for Viggo, I say we conservative women should use Hollywood leading men for their bodies. Just oogle and enjoy. They use us for our money, we use them for our enjoyment. Johnny Depp is a perfect example. What's good for the goose is good for the gander.

Heck, he played a great fictional character, he is not that character. I read the trilogy probably twenty times along with the Silmarillion and loved the screen play tremendously watching it twice while on vacation. He played the role very well but I don't think his opinion is any better than anyone else's.

This is gonna disrupt the Gawfer household... Dang!

This is how Viggo endorsed the Hobbit:

"If by my life or death I can protect you, I will. You have my sword."

Groovy.

Gimli needs to give Viggo a swift kick in the ax.

Not Viggo, *tears* Minus the hairy face, he is still a good looking man,

I fail to see the attractiveness.

Go Gimili!

I don't find liberal men attractive. Even when they are, their faulty, selfish, misguided ideology ruins it.

Aragorn is a hunk, Viggo? Not so much, especially knowing what he believes in.

Funny, Gimli has always been my favorite character

Amy thanks for informing about that Kucinich, I don't think we need worry about him.

Wordsmith, I think it has something to do with his eyes. But, he did disappoint me.

Aragorn was hot, Viggo is interesting looking. I'm not besmirching him, but really, it was all about Aragorn.
