Hillary’s Tears Require the Willful Suspension of Disbelief

OMG. Manipulative. Mean. Despicable. Insincere. Hillary. Clinton.

Hillary Clinton’s latest showcase of teary sensitivity requires from us all the willful suspense of disbelief. Here’s the old Hillary and the new, tearful, feeling Hillary:

She has emotions, dammit! And she's not afraid to use them.

Yesterday, Hillary thumped for the the sympathy vote based on gender. This is unbelievable.

The slogan “Iron My Shirt” is a chauvinist one born against the feminist movement of the 1970’s. The hecklers, employed by a radio station, were either “Don’t Taze Me, Bro!” imitators or plants. One sports a Hillary bumper sticker. Hmmm… Whatever the case, the same day Hillary shed a sensitive tear for the world to see, she, became a target of sexism. How convenient and fortunate! Hillary even issued an obligatory line about the “glass ceiling” she wants to break through. Michelle Malkin put it well:

Hillary orders her staff while on stage to turn the lights on because “it’s awfully dark in here”–and, you know, she wants to make sure all the photographers get good pictures of the unexpected, unpredicted hecklers rudely interrupting her and giving her a perfect YouTube-able moment to stand up to sexism! Darn those hecklers!

Unreal.

"Mrs. Clinton: “Some people compare one of the other candidates to John F. Kennedy. But he was assassinated." -- NYTs, tip Drudgereport.

Like I noted, it is about comparison to families and family values. J.F.K presented himself as a family candidate, trotting out his family to the scene. Hillary, except for some occasions, seems alone and distant. Bill is usually somewhere else. I do not even think Bill lives with his estranged wife. Do we want an estrange' president?

Correction: Hillary did not say that, it was the person who introduced her.

"Today, in Dover, Francine Torge, a former John Edwards supporter, said this while introducing Mrs. Clinton: “Some people compare one of the other candidates to John F. Kennedy. But he was assassinated.
".... see above link.

I see that Rudy's wife doesn't always accompany him on the stump, either, but it seems like the candidates with real potential, or who are at least really presidential, have their families near by. The Clintons seem to be trying to kill several birds (crowds) with one stone (them).

Their whole family situation just seems incredibly odd to me. I remember the Clinton's from WAY back in the 1990's and it was an awkward, embarrassing time. Their family is still pretty strained. I don't think we need that in the White House but if Hillary were a great candidate I think we could bear it.

I think Hillary's tears were insincere. She went on after that point, as her wee little voice trailed off... 'you know?'... and politicized the moment by bringing Obama back into it, hammering the premeditated "change, change, we must have change!" mantra into the sensitive moment.

Don't be fooled by her. She's a cut throat politically speaking. I have been following her since 1992 and there isn't sweet bone in her rhetorical body. She acted because she had to.

I feel so sorry for anyone who fell for her crocodile tears. I once heard that crocodiles shed tears as they are devouring their prey, need I say more?

If those tears worked on NH voters, they are too gullible to deserve the right to vote. You'd have to be stupid to support Hillary based on an obvious act.
