Black Panthers in Philly Provide ‘Security’ at Polling Booth for Obama

“A black man is gonna win no matter what.”

Incredible, illegal, but not surprising. This is who Barack Obama has to depend on to win the election. That and dead people, felons and illegal aliens.

Here, Republican poll watchers were turned away from the polling area by night stick wielding Black Panthers. Even after being caught on tape, they lied to Fox News about their actions. Watch to the very end, when Fox news guy Rich Leventhal was asked exactly who these Panthers were providing security for and the loud shout in the background: “OBAMA”.

I suppose it would be a waste of time to wait for the DNC to decounce the Panthers’ tactic.  It’s good to know the next president of the United States was elected based on skin color rather than the content of his character.

That's terrible Amy! I've been watching Fox news all day and I've just seen Obama elected President. *shakes head*

Amy, I respect you and a lot of your posts. But why do you write this divisive post on such a historic night, on a night when John McCain and many Dems and Repubs are asking Americans to move forward and unite? Please try to show a little more respect and less spite in the future for our next president. Obama was just called the winner because of his character and leadership, not in spite of it. Over the last several hours, I've just seen over two dozen prominent Republicans, including several Bush operatives, who said in very clear terms why they crossed party lines and voted for Obama--because he's a transformational leader, a steady, poised hand under pressure and crisis times, who has demonstrated great vision for a country that craves a new direction and hope in troubled times, an incredible intellect, and has inspired millions of folks to get involved in the political process and in helping make their country better. This victory will be a blow out by the end of the night, and it's not because of a few Black panthers in Philly or elsewhere. The majority of voters are expressing they want a fresh start and real change. Let's all try to recognize that though we may disagree on politics, this is still and exciting and historic time for our country. John McCain has just given an incredibly gracious acceptance speech. I will not come on your website to gloat, but look forward to good, healthy conversations about controversial topics in the future. Thank you for hosting this website.

Another story that turned out to be bogus. Even Faux Noise says it aint so.

I gotta say...McCain concession was a lot classier than any of the right wing blogs.

MD, I am writing a divisive post because the Black Panthers showed up with billy clubs t supress the Republican vote at the voting booth! The topic is divisive, not me.

Larry and Mo will take the White House in January and good luck to them! Obama is a legislator, not a leader, and he isn't a very good legislator at that. He talks a good talk... if you don't know the facts.

So history my ass. Condi Rice was the first black female Sec.of State and libs caleld her an Aunt Jemima.

This story isn't bogus. They were caught on film. This si why Obama won; there are so many schmucks willing to take a stupid pill for Obama in order to give him a pass to the Presidency.

I can't wait to see Obama keep all his promises. This is gonna be good!

Gee, not a lot of comments in this thread. I wonder why, maybe because its indefensible?

November 5, 2008 | Unregistered CommenterAmy Proctor

No, because the story turned out to be false.

Amy, since you claim to have studied journalism, and I take you on face value, you surely should have learned not to use quotes with out attribution.

Leave it to Faux News to come up with stuff like this. Entertainment value triumphs integrity once again.

November 5, 2008 | Unregistered CommenterMavic

Actually, Fixed Noise ended up debunking the story. Republicans and right wingers have no shame.
