Bush: Iraq Conspiracy Theorists are Shallow Psycho-Babblists with Too Much Time on Their Hands

George W. Bush on Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace on whether he invaded Iraq to finish what his father didn’t in the first Gulf War:

 (transcript)

WALLACE: Well, but I wonder what you make of all the talk and you've read it, you've heard it, that you're either trying to pass your father or you're trying to copy him, that you went into Iraq to finish the job because he didn't or that you organized your first term to try to win the reelection, he didn't.

What do you — set the record straight on that.

BUSH: It's shallow. Shallow psycho-babble. You asked me what I think. It's ..a bunch of people obviously got too much time on their hands.

It’s about time someone said it.

Here's my video of Bush saying McCain is a "true conservative" in the same interview.... ye, gads.

I do not know why he doesn't say these things more often, even better why has the white house compiled all of the on record statements of the Clinton Gore admin in regards to Iraq's wmd creation, it was in the 1990's that the worldview of Iraq ignoring the United Nations to build wmd's was formed.

Did you notice how Bush smiled with inappropriate glee when speaking of torture? I suppose that kind of thing would go over your heads.

As for the Bush father/son thing, this whole Nation, in fact, the whole world, is suffering from the Bush Family Oedipal Struggle. (the sound of rightwingers furiously googleing the meaning of Oedipal...)
