Berkeley Code Pink Protests Bring Vietnam Vet to Tears
Tuesday, February 12, 2008 at 09:04PM By now you’ve heard the story. The City of Berkeley, California has passed two resolutions attacking the United States Marine Corps, calling the Marines, "uninvited and unwelcome intruders in the city."
The Berkeley City Council voted to condemn the Marines on January 29th as part of a campaign by anti-war activists to shut down a U.S. Marine Recruiting Center located in the city of Berkeley.
The votes attracted national attention bringing clashes between anti-war and pro-troop groups in Berkeley today.
Earlier this afternoon the ugly protests from Code Pink, et al, almost brought this Vietnam Vet to tears as he remembered the anti-war protests upon his return from Vietnam:
"(This is) the same kind of hate-America, anti-military sentiment that I encountered when I came back from Nam 40 years ago. It was wrong then and it’s wrong now."
He must not have heard that Code Pink supports the troops.

Move America Forward was there yesterday in a counter-protest. I've heard there was a physical altercation but haven't seen any details of it, yet.
Snooper, sadly it's people like you and me who care, not the anti-war folks doing the damage and causing the pain.
Steph, I wish Move America Forward was around in Columbia, SC when I used to counterprotest the weekly "silent vigils" by Women in Black and Cindy Sheehan supporters. It was just a few of us Army wives out there every week. I'm glad the movement is growing.
Amy, I'm so upset that these people are doing what they do and cry when their actions are returned to them, that I'm ready to tell every person in the military to quit asap, if a Democrat gets elected. Yes, I know that's a bad thing and it's silly to think that way, but sometimes... They are so underappreciated that it really isn't worth it to them anymore. If a Dem gets elected they'll lose even more benefits than what they've already lost and the Constitution is going to be rewritten. What would be left to defend but their families which they can do from here?
But they support the troops so I guess there's something wrong with that vet.

What's really astounding is that Code Pink swears they just want to support our troops by brining them home yet they hold signs saying, "Join the Marines, travel the world, meeting interesting people AND KILL THEM".

As Regards The Marine Recruiting Problem in Berkeley:
It rarely seems to amaze me that opposing sides on such important
issues almost always fail to come-up with the right answers to the problems at hand (almost as if there were "foreign" agencies involved, on both sides, ensuring that they didn't properly resolve the issues).
The Marine (military) Recruiting Post(s) in Berkeley are no exception. Like the various Ballot Propositions, since 2004 (at Least)---see http://www.californiachronicle.com/articles/3774 and http://www.californiachronicle.com/articles/3389 for more details, before they happened (as the Scientific Government Training Programs provided the solutions that would've prevented Every Major Disaster in th U.S., since 1988-89, also-before they happened----Again, the ancient ploy of divide and conquor can be seen, pitting the "microcosmics" (those looking through the microscope, who can see nothing else) against the "macrocosmics" (those looking through the telescope, who similarly-can't see anythinng else)-----thusly, ensuring that no true, net-positive, "doesnt cost you more than you get out of it" solutions
are accomplished.
If you weren't a student or expert on historical, "representative-government-opposing", strategies, you might simply chalk this off to well-meaning incompetence. However, a more microscopic and macroscopic, scientific analysis (as with the Ballot Propositions, since the presentment of the evidence and proof on how to correct these measures, permanently, in
2004-5, to California's Assembly/General Court) clearly-exemplify that the "constitution/representative-government-opposing leaders" of these efforts
don't want real, valid, solutions; they merely want so-called solutions that will
only cause more problems than already exist (so they can illegally and fraudulently profit from the new "symptoms and problems they cause", instead of actually effecting a cure). This is an old trick of the Marxist Newspaper "The New Mouth of the Empire: An Organ of Democracy" variety that differentiated it from Real American, Freedom-supporting, Newspapers (as Franklin's "Mercury")----whereby, instead of reporting news, of which they have knowledge, that will prevent disasters, they censor and
conceal such information from the public, allow the disaster, and multiply their
illegal profits from the increases in newspaper sales that results, as people scramble to get details on the disaster (the disaster that coul've, should've, and would've been prevented, if they'd timely-reported the news, as the populace generally considers they do, otherwise, they wouldn't fund such an enemy propaganda rag).
In the case of the Marine (Military) Recruiting Post(s), for example, if they'd reported on the New Scientific Government Training Programs (of whch most've had knowledge, since 1988-89), we'd have avoided the politically-motivated Iraq Invasions (I and II), saved thousands of military employees' lives, and prevented our resources (people and weapons) from being used to uncover and leave a trillion dollar oilfield (an Economic Weapon of
War, capable of purchasing hundreds of nuclear weapons and more) vulnerable to even-greater-enemy control and usage. We'd have implemented representative government there, already (properly-functioning grand juries; not the WWI and WWII-like German Reichstags and Chambers od Deputies, which aren't true representativ government, at all, but war-waging-entities) and had all but a highly-secured, stabilizing force in Iraq (much like the rather eventless one in Cuba), in about 6 months. Macrocosmicly, our troops would've been provided the Real Scientific Government Training Programs (not the counterfeit ones that changed from 10 General Orders to 12, which obviously-don't work) and attrocious events as those at the Abu Gahrib Prison (and worse) would NEVER have occurred, because they'd really know (and be able to prove) the requirements of their jobs, instead of merely-pretending to do so, with some rotely-memorized fraudulent representations of those jobs' parameters (that, similarly, leave them vulnerable to illegal orders for criminal gain, usually-others'----just like the leaders of these political action groups).
As with the still-uncorrected, since 2004-5, Bogus, Greater Problem Causing Ballot Propositions (and I'll use the most recent Term Limits Proposition as an example); instead of using tax-paid, PIRG, resources and efforts (to get signatures, etc. ) to "term-out corrupt officeholders", why didn't they use these monies, resources, and efforts to oppose reprovably-fraudulent Law Codes (and any precedents based thereupon; as was proven to be a means of "foreign" attack in WWII, with Dart's Code) and merely-support and defend the California Constitution, Article 1, section 16's inviolable right to trial by jury/grand-jury (or, at least, make and signify a Ballot Proposition that does so) and thusly-restore proper function to our grand juries, the only truly-representative governmental body (unlike Germany and Italy's WWI and II Reichstags and Chambers of Deputies), that we can "speedy
and publicly" remove any government employee who's proven guilty of crime, immediately (without having to wait until his/her term ends and be principals to their crimes in the meantime), AND ACTUALLY ELIMINATE THE PROBLEM? As Proper Grand Jury
Function REQUIRES the making and issuing of a Civil Debt (called a True Bill), everytime wrongdoing's alleged (either upon the accuser or the accused), as my copyrights reprove, if a Real Solution to the problem is what you're after, there is no other means of accomplishing one (EVERYTHING ELSE WILL REPROVABLY-COST YOU MORE THAN YOU GET OUT OF IT).
Relatedly, like the perverted tactics used by International Narcotics (which is reprovably-different from Constitutional Narcotics Law Enforcement) to recruit victims and their families into organizations as MADD (and others), which has to be among the "lowest of the low"----though I'm, of course, opposed to wreckless operation of a motor vehicle, especially while intoxicated. The recruitment of the victims (and their families) of the negligent-failures to
implement these PROVEN AND REPROVABLE Scientific Government Training Programs (reprovable before any grand jury in the country, versus any and all evidence to the contrary) that initially-caused the Iraq Invasions (I and II), failed to provide them with sufficient/available armament (which we had to prosecute to Congress to get for them, ourselves) and continues to cause their non-representative-government (grand jury) establishing prolongation of operations there, is inexcuseable. It isn't the Constitution Supporting and Defending Marine (Military) Recruiting Post(s) that these peoples oppose(d)
it's the opposition to the U.S. Constitution (Representativ Government) that they validly-reject (as Constitutional Support and Defense REQUIRES----which their family members, which have"passed", gave their lives supporting and defending). The microcosm of using American reources (our citizens) for constitution-opposing, criminal efforts (as Iraq and Eastern Europe, etc. macrocosmicly exemplify).
I encourage Berkelians (and the Council) to Support and Defend the U.S.
Constitution and DEMAND the closure of these Recruiting Post(s), until the
U.S. Military implements these Proven/Reprovable, Life Saving, Scientific
Government Training Programs (and refrain from opposing their oaths/verbal contracts of office and the U.S. Constitution; as they MUST reprovably-do to fail to implement these Scientific Programs).......thusly, preventing the recruitment of Americans to be used for
illegal, constitution/representative-government-oposing efforts, at home or abroad.
Moreover, I Volunteer my services as a Legal Consultant (with Who's Who in
America, World's Best Copyrights and Discoveries in the Law), to defend and
prosecute against any suits that may be filed against them for doing so. If

I'm here in Berkeley with my family, living as ex-patriot Americans in the People's Republic. The City Council has gone mad, and their encouragement has now made it possible for World Can't Wait! to surplant Code PINK in front of the Recruiting Office.
World Can't Wait! as a group seems willing to be punched - so they can claim brutality, or arrested - so they can claim injustice. Despite the problem with the Berkeley Police mistaking "neutral" for "passive", my sympathy is with them. They are caught between the 60's and the Anarchists.
I would like to start a group (Berkeley Marine Sanctuary) for people who support the presence of the USMC in Berkeley. My goals are 1) to supply material aid to the Marines (cookies and handshakes seem to be appreciated), 2)to support the Police in enforcing existing laws to control the protesters or put them away, and 3)to start asking Berkeley's quiet people to speak up, so the Council doesn't mistake volume for numbers, next time. I met Roger Young yesterday - retired career Army and dad of a Marine - he has now driven up from Orange County twice to be sure someone counter-protests the World Can't Wait! thugs. In honor of the loose law enforcement, I double-parked upstream of the water boarders and megaphones, to thank Roger for his presence in Berkeley, and to apologize for being home with a sick kid while he was out on the sidewalk. I asked him if he was hungry and he said folks had been bringing him food and coffee coupons all day (yay!), so he was "all set". When I told him I was from Berkley, he smiled and said "but you seem so NORMAL!"
How sad is that?
