Hillary: Obama Offers Change You Can Xerox

..not change you can believe in.  Best barb of the night at the Democratic Presidential Debate by Hillary on Obama plagiarizing in his speeches:

“I think that if your candidacy is going to be about words then they should be your own words…

“Lifting whole passages from someone else’s speeches is not change you can believe in, its change you can Xerox.”

Hey Amy, I know how you folks love to pounce on the pettiness of this silly plagiarism charge, BUT do you feel any shame for stealing Limbaugh's line regarding McCain this morning? You have no credibility when it comes to repeating Hillary's silly and desperate plagiarism charge.

And dats a fact!

Stealing Limbaugh's line? First of all, did you listen to Limbaugh today? I've been saying this for years and it has nothing to do with Limbaugh, although I'm honored he plagarized me. You go, man!

Secondly, if you believe I plagarized anyway, why is is silly when Barack does it and not when I do? DOH!

This is a classic liberal tactic: to distract from the incompetence and ridiculousness of Democrats by accusing a Republican (or Christian, which ever is more effectatious) of hypocrisy.

February 22, 2008 | Registered CommenterAmy Proctor

Amy,

Since liberals have no standards, they cannot be charged with hypocracy. You know that.

A iberal ignores any and every Dem flaw. And then, points out any Rep flaw, no matter how small or contrived. It's the old "don't look at me and my BIG problem, no, no, look at THAT guy and his "supposed" problem.

Liberals are suffering from a mental disorder, as we all know.

Withthat said, methinks Hillary's little barb failed on her in this attempt at exposing Barak's unethical outing, not because he isn't unethical but that Hillary isn't any better.

If it was the best line, why was it the only one booed all night? If it was the best line, why did Hillary cease using attack lines after she used it? If it was the best line, why do most of the google news posts claim it fell flat?

February 22, 2008 | Unregistered Commentergeorgeusx

Let me put it this way; it was the best line of the night if you're a Republican. The booing was icing on the cake.

"The lesson I hope McCain learns here is YOU CANNOT REACH ACROSS THE AISLE TO LIBERALS; THEY MUST BE DEFEATED." - Amy Proctor(Xerox Machine) February 21st, 2008

"The important question for John McCain today is, is he going to learn the right lesson from this, and what is the lesson? The lesson is liberals are to be defeated. You cannot walk across the aisle with them. You cannot reach across the aisle." - Rush Limbaugh(Polarizer) February 21st, 2008

February 22, 2008 | Unregistered CommenterPedro Queso

"Secondly, if you believe I plagarized anyway, why is is silly when Barack does it and not when I do?"

The difference, is that Obama was requested to use the line by the person who created the line.

You take a line from someone, and then claim that it was the other person who took it from you. I am not sure how that is possible since the line of communication one one-directional, but it makes me think that you are not telling the truth.

But it is clear to me that truth is not important to you when you repeat the nastiness of others.

February 22, 2008 | Unregistered CommenterPedro Queso

Hey, it looks like another Republican congressman (Rick Renzi) has been indicted. I don't think another ethics scandal is the best way to defeat liberals. Fun times ahead!

February 22, 2008 | Unregistered CommenterPedro Queso

The line fell flat because people want Hillary to be a "victim". Her poll numbers go up when she cries.

And the boos prove that even Hillary CAN NOT attack DA MAN!

They look like weekend news anchors.

We may have witnessed the end of Hillary's presidential hopes. Her clever but meanspirited barbs show who she really is. America is ready for a woman president, but not a snotty woman president.

February 24, 2008 | Unregistered CommenterAmy Proctor

I wish people would cut barack some slack. He is for change and hope afterall. So what if he is full of BS. He is black, democrap, and an inspirational speaker all in one. He is like joel osteen who spouts absolutly nothing clear about christian doctrine. Barack should have a church also. He could baracktise people in a bath of his own sweat. He could blow his nose and have people pass out thinking its the holy spirit. Maybe his wife could come up and say she is proud of christianity for the first time in her adult life. It would be magical, like benny hin in his white suite making his gospel singers fall down after pointing at them. And he doesn't need to have a lick of common sense or know how. Just like he doesnt have a lick of common sense politically.

Christopher, it's funny you'd mention Joel Osteen and I do see a comparison. Osteen was on Fox News Sunday months ago and I was appalled that he doesn't talk about sin or the basic tenets of the faith. He has a huge audience he can reach, probably because he doesn't talk about those things, but it's empty feel-good religion and it has virtually no power. It relies on humanism and good thoughts. It's shallow.
