Petraeus to America: Iraq is Worth It

GEN Petraeus said today in his anticipated briefing to the Senate Armed Services Committee that Iraq is worth the fight, America is safer as a result and that it is a privilege to command in Iraq.

Bonus footage: Senator Joe Lieberman saying the Democrats “hear no progress in Iraq, see no progress in Iraq and speak of no progress in Iraq” and that factually speaking “the Iraqi political leadership has achieved more reconciliation and progress than the American leadership.”

America replies: 'no, Dave, you're full of nonsense.
But keep it up if you want, we're just not paying for
it anymore. We simply don't care at this point. Drop a line if
it ends up working out.Bye.'

Why is it that liberals and anti-war people are afraid to identify themselves and hide behind psuedonyms?

It's also typical for those sorts of people to be disrespectful to those who serve on their behalf. Nothing new.

If you're the one who doesn't care, how does that make GEN Petraeus full of nonsense?

April 9, 2008 | Unregistered CommenterAmy Proctor

He's full of nonsense because he advocates wasting more money and lives on an idiotic adventure that is not in the best interests of the United States or the vast majority of its' citizens, i.e., trying to establish a Western style society and nation with people and a culture and 'religion' that are fundamentally completely incompatible with such a society and nation(not that we would have any business trying with any other people or culture, but attempting to do so with Muslims-relative to Western society and civilization, the two day old dog vomit of the human race-is 'double secret idiocy'. Petraus, of course, benefits personally from this worthless nonsense, at present in terms of publicity and attention, but I sure he's thinking of ways to benefit monetarily, and, unfortunately, politically.

I repeat - Patraeus has never seen a day of actual battle.
