Al Gore Brings SUV Convoy to Global Warming Rally

Priceless.

Al Gore preaches to the little people to conserve, downsize, do without, while he lives….quite comfortably. From Americans for Prosperity, who attended former Clinton VP Al Gore global warming rally in DC, the video of the hypocritical event:

Reduce that carbon footprint.

Excellent expose on liberal hypocrisy. Thanks

At first I laughed, but after awhile I was so annoyed at the hypocrisy I no longer found it humorous.

That guy wants gas prices to go up to $8 a gallon!! Brilliant idea, NOT!

There are still towns in the United States that do not provide public transportation. I know, because I live in a city of 55,000 and just two years ago, we were finally able to vote about acquiring small buses.

They are now in operation.

The idiot who spoke about that cost doesn't seem to remember that food, supplies etc, are carried in vehicles that require GASOLINE! Not to mention the farmers operating their machinery. If gas prices go up so does everything else, except pay raises!

What a bunch of ignorant hypocrites!

When did we get soooo far away from common sense? Al Gore has very little, but neither do those who take his global warming hysteria seriously.

WHAT!!? No bullet proof Smart Cars!?

Anywayz, when the messenger is attacked, it's a pretty good indication the opposition has no credible comeback for the message.

The fact is we are at, or around, Peak Oil ("W'z" saber rattling with Iran has driven oil $ up higher, which in turn feeds into the speculative cycle, which drives oil up higher ...). With the onset of Peak Oil will come the requirement to change systems set up on cheap oil - gas guzzling cars and SUVs, driving long distances to work (think them bedroom community houses are devaluing quickly now under a Bush deregulated economy, just wait), transporting food long distances, etc. Europe has moved forward on this front, particularly developing alternative energy, conserving energy, etc., America, run by 2 Oil Men for the last 8 years, has not.

"W" acknowledges we are addicted to oil. What's his solution .... 'You know them Oil Companies that are NOT drilling on them leases they already have, well they need ... errr .... I mean .... we need more leases for them to NOT drill on ... ahhh ... I mean ... fir me to psychologically appear to be doin' sumthin' .... CON-versely, what's "W" done on the other side of the equation? The conservation side .... Less than ZERO

Gore's point is co(R)po(R)ate Ame(R)ica will not intelligently regulate itself, but them market conditions all them laissez faire capitalist are always touting all the time, will.

Why (R) all you (R) guyz whining and being 'bitter' ... it'd just the market place ... I mean ... the deregulated market place speakin'

Liberals really do have the corner on hypocrisy. Whether it's Jesse Jackson dropping the "N" bomb and giving a speech previously denoucning the word, or Whoopie Goldberg defending the use of the N-word saying it's deplorable when whites use it but endearing when blacks do, or Al Gore preaching to everyone else about reducing their carbon footprint while his would support a family of 15, HYPOCRISY is the name of the game. Do as I say, not as I do.

AMY: " Liberals really do have the corner on hypocrisy."

SG: So!?

Gore's message is accurate. The Science is in - for those who use evidence to establish belief, rather than the other way round, that is. The evidence points to severe climate change. Hell, severe weather points to severe climate change.

Gore, even as you describe him is one step, one GIANT step better than climate change deniers, like Cheney who tried to alter the reported evidence. That's probably criminal as well as hypocritical ...

Thirdly, the world loves Gore. They gave him a Nobel Prize. The world hates Bush and Cheney, and want to try them for war crimes.

Personally your post just seems like a lotta whinin' to me, because the NeoCons have trashed your (R) party, just the way they've trashed the economy, trashed the military, trashed people's lives and hopes through deregulation, lost homes lost jobs, trashed military hospital care, still can not get FEMA to effectively respond to Katrina, poison trailer, supplies not handed out, Al Qaeda is reported to be stronger now than before the invasion or Iraq ....

Now they're negotiating with Iran without preconditions and they've accepted a Time-line for withdrawal in Iraq. These guyz went so far right they've started to come full circle and are now embracing liberal policies ...

Hypoc(R)isy on a stupendous scale .... but that speck in Al's eye seems to keep you 'loggin' on ....
