O'Reilly Interviews Mr. T About Controversial Snickers Commerical
Thursday, August 7, 2008 at 09:30AM Mr. T on Fox News’ Bill O’Reilly last night talking about why his controversial Snickers commercial has been pulled in Great Britain. The interview is as hilarious as the commercial.
I don’t know that this commercial should offend gays but it’s definitely unconventional.

I actually found the commercial hilarious! I had to see it again. I love Mr. T he is a very sweet and kind person and should be left alone.
The homosexuals need to get over it and move on. I swear they want to control every thing we see and do nowadays and the media plays up to them constantly. It's like giving a whining baby a treat for behaving badly. *rolls eyes*
I agree with your assessment of Mr. T and I thought the commerical was hilarious, too. I think I see why homosexuals might be offended but I think the commercial is subjective in terms of its message. The guy was powerwalking and I didn't get the impression he was gay, although maybe the issue should be a ban on powerwalking since it looks a little gay.
Much ado about nothing. I thought it was funny! I had to post it in You Tube becuase they pulled the video inmy BlipTV account. I've never had a video pulled in BlipTv before, ever, however my old You Tube account was deleted last month. I guess Snickers doesn't want this commerical to hurt its sales.
Mr. T's Snickers Gun?
I understand why they were offended, but if they need to grow up. Things that offend them are going to be everywhere and they need to live with it. If we can live with blasphemy passing as art they can live with this.
uh oh, if that was offensive we better take speed walking out of the Olympics.
I could be mistaken, but aren't San Francisco gays the ones who said "tough" to offended Catholics when Budwieser (I think it was) sponsored that gay day and had a picture of gays dressed up depicting the last supper?
OK the commercial is funny. Hilarious even. However is it fair to say how the "gays" should get over it? It all comes to the fine line between human and gender stereotypes. Imagine a commercial where a hard working women was told to act more like a woman and be in the kitchen to cook and clean. Or a black person who is educated to act more thuggish. While some people may not think twice about that many I am sure would squirm. Gays are goign through an ongoing battle for equal rights and whatnot so I can almost see why this could piss them off. Who is to say that it was gay people that got offended. Maybe its a group of power walkers anyway for making their beloved sport look so effeminate.
