Rice: 'Hamas is Holding People of Gaza Hostage'

U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice said yesterday in a statement that Hamas is holding the people of Gaza hostage and using Gaza as a base of operations to target Israel. Here is her brief statement to the media:

CONDOLEEZZA RICE: “Hamas has made it very difficult for the people of Gaza to have a reasonable life.”

And did you know that in the latest round of Israeli attacks targeting the house of top Hamas leader Nizar Rayan and surrounding buildings storing Hamas weapons that Israel called thousands of Palestinians warning that their houses were targets? Israel also phoned Nizar Rayan and warned him to leave his home saying they would bomb the residence, but he elected to sacrifice himself, his 4 wives and 9 of his 12 children to the cause of terrorizing Israel.

The bombing of Rayan’s house triggered secondary explosions that proved Israel was correct that weapons were stockpiled there.

Palestinians have no one to blame but Hamas.

Hamas is a favored ally of Israel. Thanks to Hamas's stupidity, Israel has a semi-excuse to hold the people of Gaza in an open prison.

The Palestinians aren't going to move forward until they vote in better leadership. And Hamas is a prime candidate to be marched into the sea.

I completely support Israel. Hamas broke the cease fire, Hamas attacked Israel with suicide bombers and rockets, and Hamas has opposed every real peace effort between the Palestinians and Israel.

I believe the Palestinians are complicit in this so of course they're going to be devastated throughout this war. I support Israel's attempt to destroy Hamas.
