Levi Johnston Claims Sarah Palin Regularly Called Son Trig "Retarded"

Levi Johnston, ex-boyfriend of Bristol Palin who fathered her son, is continuing his attack on his ex-future mother-in-law former Alaska Governor and Republican Vice-Presidential nominee Sarah Palin by saying she “regularly” called her Down Syndrome baby “retarded” when he was dating her daughter.

LEVI JOHNSTON: She’d be like, ‘Where’s my retarded baby?’ all this, I mean, that just isn’t right. I never did say anything, but at the same time we were all just kinda like….

I couldn’t tell you, I have no proof to showin’ you it’s true, but I know it is.  I was just in shock for the first time I heard it, then it kinda, she said it, you know, regularly, and I was just like, I think she was joking, but you know, that doesn’t make it right.

Hmm, Levi said “we all just kinda like” reacted to Sarah Palin’s comment about her Down Syndrome son but can’t show any proof? How about contacting all those eye witnesses there, Levi?

Amy she does not spend all that much time taking care of her baby. Writing a book, giving speeches all over the place, exactly what should the priorities of a new mom be ?

October 31, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterJohn Ryan

They must be gearing up for another fight with her because of her book and political movements.

Even if she said it, who are they to judge? Levi Johnson is a liar and a bad father. The left as a whole condone murdering babies before they have a chance to do or be anything. And, they're the first to ridicule and name call when temper tantrums don't get them what they want.

October 31, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterStephC

BTW, John Ryan, sexist, are you?

October 31, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterStephC

What reason would he have to speak poorly of Sarah if he wasn't receiving financial compensation? then again, what reason would he have of doing a spread in Playgirl Magizine either?

And along the same line of thought, if he had so much integrity, why did he abandon Bristol and his son?

The problem is the MSM just laps him up like a tabloid scooping a story of alien births in Hollywood. All the more reason to believe them as a reliable source of news and information, eh?

October 31, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterGary

The Libs called it right last year when they said Levi was a thug, now he is a darling? Which is it?

October 31, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterMike

"Libs" don't reflexively praise someone simply because he points out the hypocrisy of someone they detest - that is hard for right-wingers to believe since it is what they would do. Levi Johnston is a jerk who is trying to parley his association with the Palin family into some quick bucks. Whether he is telling the truth in this instance or not, who knows, since it's unlikely anyone who witnessed these events is willing to corroborate his story. We all knew Sarah Palin was a witless self-aggrandizing egotistical airhead so the story is believable, the question is why anyone would care anymore. Is the Republican Party so hard up for leadership that they are looking seriously at Palin? If so, they are doomed.

October 31, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterCharles

John, *some* mothers take their children with them everywhere. But if your connotation is that Sarah Palin is a bad mother, you must really despise the Obamas. What were the priorities of new mom Michelle Obama? She went back to work as a lawyer. And then they argued about who would "have to" leave their job to pick up Shasha and Malya if they were sick.

When I was home wiht my kids for 15 years (I quit my job when I had my firstborn) I wrote many articles for newspapers, magazines and on-line companies about the war in Iraq and other issues. I also made media apparances and did media phone interviews on military issues. And I was then and am now a good mother. In fact, stay at home mothers often write books.

Oh, and Sarah Palin had a ghost writer.

You should be ashamed of yourself for accusing her without knowing any of the facts. I think StephC is right; you are a sexist.

Levi Johnston is a creep. Where's your criticism of him? He has a newborn and uses the child as a prop for magazines to make a buck, he's posing nude for Playgirl and bashes his child's grandmother publicly. Sexism, john, sexism.

Sadly, people like Charles judge Sarah Palin by her accent, not her character, as Martin Luther King Jr advised. People who make fun of the way she talks insults a huge population in our nation's north-central and north-western states. She is not an airhead, she is not dumb, and maybe you should think about contemplating your own code for judging.

Or don't you believe in "judge not, lest you be judged" anymore?

Charles
For a book that has sold over 2 million copies and won't be released until november 17th, I'd say there is a significant amount of people that do care.

Great comment, Amy. Levi has no credibility, yet is constantly given a platform. And folks like Charles would have us take the MSM seriously.

ROTFLMBO!

November 1, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterGary

If we are to judge people based on popularity then Michael Jackson and Paris Hilton are the greatest Americans of our time. As the old saw goes, there's no accounting for taste.

Palin is an idiot. Eventually all of you will figure that out, but the idea that there could be a popular person with primitive reactionary wacko-Christian views is so alluring that you have to defend her. Go ahead, make her your heroine, nominate her for President, whatever. Then you will find out what a complete bozo she is and how few Americans share your views.

November 1, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterCharles

Did Sarah Palin get punked?

We really don't know as this story is not based on proven fact(s)..much like the "Clinton met with with Kim Jong Il look alike" story.

November 1, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterKevin Capstick

Levi lives in Alaska, and there is a lot of folks he is making angry, with a murder rate higher than the national average I'd be careful. Especially with all the wackos. While Palin is not Einstein she knows how to balance a budget, which is more than Pelosi, Reid , and Obama can do combined. Obama without a teleprompter makes Palin look like a Rhodes scholar.

November 1, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterMike

Please Chuck,

Support your opinion. I mean, other than successfully running a state and as Mike said balancing the budget, successfully presiding as Mayor, Drawing more folks to her townhall meetings than Obama, and a plethora of other accomplishments, not to mention successfully navigating the onslaught of media accusations that were ultimately proven false at her own expense, she is rather mundain.

Charles, in light of these facts, I believe you're a sexist, bigoted liberal socialist.

What say you?

November 1, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterGary

Awww, poor widdle Charles got his male appendage slammed in the door rescently? Need your pointless left vs. right talking points to make youself feel better. <3

November 2, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterFoxx

Gee, my cat could balance a budget in a state that gets most of its income from oil royalties and has a tiny population. I doubt that small town mayor would be too difficult for him either. If you google "crowd size 2008 campaign" you'll discover that most of the hits involve the McCain-Palin campaign lying about crowd size. Similar to the Glenn Beck 9/12 rally that was about the same size as the gay rights march a few weeks later although they didn't report that on Faux News so you guys probably don't know that.

There are a lot of smart women in politics, even some in the Republican Party. McCain chose to elevate a person to the national ticket that had no idea what she was talking about on any issue whatever. She could repeat talking points effectively but don't ask any questions because she can't answer them. If this is who you guys look up to as the future leader of the Republican Party, then I'm laying in a few cases of champagne to celebrate the next 40 years of Democratic Party rule.

November 2, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterCharles

Maybe your cat should run for President, they are not influenced by opinion polls. The reason Palin balanced the budget is because she wanted to, given the same option the Bush, and Obama were and are not inclined to. She could have easily overspent the state by adding lay around and collect a check programs like California did.

November 2, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterMike

No kidding Mike.

It's not that it takes a genious to balance a budget; it just takes someone who is serious enough about the job to do it.

McCain chose to elevate a person to the national ticket that had no idea what she was talking about on any issue whatever. She could repeat talking points effectively but don't ask any questions because she can't answer them.
Kinda sounds like Obama- only with actual leadership experience as a Mayor and Governor (that even charles' cat do proportedly do). So I guess it stands to reason Charles' cat could do as good a job as Obama is doing, LOL!

November 2, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterGary

S.Palin may not be dumb Amy, but she certainly sounds like it. How do you not know what newspapers you read? She made a fool of herself during that campaign. She can write 10 books, be popular, make tons of money now that she quit on the people of Alaska, but don't ever suggest she presents herself as smart.

November 2, 2009 | Unregistered Commentertimo

Sarah P has that Awe shucks thing down. The Katie Couric interview was not as bad as the clip everyone saw and Tina Fey made a lot of hay over, the bottom line is she cannot sound like a hick all the time. Many people have come out to destroy this woman, and they are still attacking her. She had to quit being Gov as the 5000 investigations that came up with nothing were costing the state of Alaska a fortune. This is the sort of behavior that makes me ashamed to be a registered Democrat. Of course I have no love loss for the Hannity's of the world whom if you don't agree with them just say it louder.

November 2, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterMike

WHO'S SAYING WHAT LOUDER, MIKE?!

:D

November 2, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterGary

Leave it to Rolling Stone write Matt Taibbi to define the Palin mystique:

"... in 2012, ... the Republican Party may well nominate a woman who would lose at Trivial Pursuit to a Chilean sea bass, who makes George W. Bush look like Sir Isaac Newton. What’s incredible about Palin isn’t that she has a few gaps in her knowledge base, but that she doesn’t know anything about anything at all; she moreover doesn’t seem to feel the need to make sure one idea follows the next when she talks, instead just blurting out random unconnected bits and pieces of deep-seated resentment and persecution complex. Even ideological consistency is an alien concept to her (she wears her religious fundamentalism on her sleeve, but lets her unmarried daughter shack up with a human hard-on in the next room over) and she appears to resent the notion that it shouldn’t be.

All of which makes Sarah Palin the perfect leader for the inevitable pushback against the Obama era, when America in a vague and superficial sort of way decided to celebrate the values of culture, tolerance and knowledge. The other America doesn’t read and doesn’t remember anything it didn’t learn in the last five minutes; it’s angry and unhappy but doesn’t want to think about why, and knows only that it wants someone to pay the price for what it feels.

These people don’t want a president who reads Urdu poetry, they want a president who thinks Urdu is a Swedish dog food and doesn’t care if you know it. Just like them, Sarah Palin is now an unemployed loser who lost her job and her status thanks to forces beyond her comprehension and thinks she knows exactly whom to blame."

The guy is a masterful writer.

November 2, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterCharles

Matt Taibbi knows even less about how to be a real person than Sarah Palin:

"In March 2005, Taibbi wrote a column for NY Press, entitled "The 52 Funniest Things About the Upcoming Death of the Pope."[11] The column was denounced by Senator Hillary Clinton, New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg, Matt Drudge, and Abe Foxman, among others, including Congressman Anthony Weiner who suggested that New Yorkers take copies of that issue out of their news boxes and destroy them.[12]"

The guy thinks he is funny, and the truth is that he is a sad unhappy warped little man whom will most likely end up old alone, and very sad.

It is doubtful anyone is running Ms. Palin for any National Office Charles, you better get busy tearing down Mitt. If the election between Barry and Mitt were held today Mr. I hate America would lose. Make no mistake, it is obvious to many people that Obama hates America. Even those of us who are Moderate Dems.

November 3, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterMike

Hates America? If you hated America, you would start unnecessary wars, treat the Constitution like toilet paper, cut taxes and raise spending and turn the country into an international pariah. When we had a President who did that, we had a President who hates America and I didn't hear any objections here. Obama doesn't hate America any more than you do.

November 3, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterCharles

When has Obama done anything other then denigrate this country? I think the only stupid person to mention here is you, Charles.

November 4, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterFoxx

Mr. Charles I love my country and have given up my health and youth for it. Mr. Obama has always had the notion to not ask what he could do for this country, but to ask what it could do for him. Mr. Charles where were you on 9/11? Did you forget we were attacked. My Ex lost friends in those towers Mr.Charles. I can't defend Mr.Bush on everything he did. I know what he did not do. He did not apologize for being born American and supporting his country, anymore than any French person has ever apologized for being French. When Mr.Obama goes on an apology tour then we lose face and look weak. I know this sort of man, Mr. Charles, and this sort of man does not love this country. He hates it, and wants it to pay for it's sins. We have to move forward, and stop trying to redistribute wealth. One of his biggest backers is a man whom was a Jew during the war who pretended to be non-jewish, and turned in jews to the Nazis. Then pretended to also be a victim of the holocaust after the war. He hates America, and gives Mr. Obama advice and money. I did not need Glenn Beck to tell me that. I have eyes Mr. Charles. Do you not see?

November 4, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterMike

Mike, I was here when the lack of leadership in the White House allowed 9/11 to happen. We lost a lot of wonderful people in that heinous attack. Does that give us a right to brag about our country regardless of its actions? Does that give the United States a free pass to invade irrelevant countries, kidnap people off the streets of our alleged allies and whisk them off to be tortured by the totalitarian regimes we still support? No it does not. Do any of those actions really help us recover from 9/11 or demand justice from the perpetrators and those who funded them? No. Do any of those acts reduce the threat of future attacks? No they don't.

I assume the backer you refer to is George Soros although the biographical details are more the delusions of Glenn Beck than actual fact. Obama is no saint and he has failed to bring about any of the change he claimed to represent, but he doesn't hate America and he is not trying to redistribute wealth - unless you count redistribution upward which is the same direction Republicans redistribute wealth.

What Obama is doing is trying to restore America's credibility and authority in the world after the destructive actions of the Bush Administration, at least with words. When it comes to actions, he isn't doing much there either. He is talking about doing things to benefit the middle class, but it's all talk.

November 4, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterCharles

What I would like to happen is for Trig to knock up some girl twenty to thirty years later and for that baby to grow up to be a 6'6" bodybuilding genius, and for Levi to continue to talk trash about Trig.
