Just when we thought we’d seen the last of old Cindy, along comes Code Pink’s “Stop the Drones” tour to various military bases in the Pacific Time Zones.

The elderly From Travis Air Force Base in California

SHEEHAN: “I get assaulted by this old man, and I’m the one who gets a ticket, so, yeah, it’s just #$@!!”

Ooyah! Zoomie!!!

Gee, I wonder what Casey would have thought of his mom's blatant disrespect of this veteran?

Cindy Sheehan is such a poor PATHETIC character. The liberals used her like a DIRTY DISH RAG and then discarded her. The women apparently has mental problems, but she is a liberal and that's a disorder all by itself.

November 30, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterPeteDawg

That is her disability, PDawg.

Cindy was so 2004 ish, she does not help the cause as our guy is President now and we are good with war now. Not that war is good, but hey our guy is in charge. Yeah!

She is an embarassment now and if she persists may find herself on recieving some very well meaning charity at a mental hospital.

That Cindy Sheehan. She certainly is half-baked.

November 30, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterJohn Rudolph

Wow! What a disgrace to the name of her fallen son, whom we see as a hero. She is a disgrace and it is a shame that she wasn't pushed harder, maybe knock some sense into that "half-baked" mind of hers.

Cindy, don't go away mad. Just go away.....

November 30, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterMike

Hmm, turns out that the 'old vet' was a fraud and is now in trouble for 'stealing valor'.

Bottom line is though that Cindy Sheehan suffered a great loss when her son was killed in the service of this country. Maybe she is a 'nut', but losing a child is a good reason to become a nut and you dont get to choose how you lose your mind.

You may not like what she says, but freedom of speech is a right in this country and if we lose that then we have lost everything. I dont agree with Cindy Sheehan, particularly on Afganistan, but I support her right to say how she feels and the rest of us should also.

November 30, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterJohn Macfarland

The guy just disagreed with her and if he is a fraud he should get into trouble, but take a good look at Cindy vs. The rest of her family. She is a phony and a nut job. She has had her 15 minutes of fame and should exit stage left.

She can say what she wants, but she does not have the right to harass the service members and their families coming on and off the base. In this day and age her mental health may be an issue as she could be a threat to troops. The SP's have the right to protect the base.

November 30, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterMike

You're right about free speech JM; in fact that is exactly what I and other Vets and active duty service members who comment here served for; however, Military post property is not the place for her to protest, and she was proven to be a fraud when she complained after being sited for obstructing traffic.

You excuse her behavior because of her loss, but you neglect to address the other mindless code pink bots that were involved as well. Those are the same idiots that protested the Marine Recruiting office in Berkeley, CA last year, btw. Further, loosing her mind is no excuse for flying to Venezuela and sucking up to a dictator who has aligned himself with America's enemies known as Iran and Al Qaeda.

No JM, you are out of line when you attempt to school those of us who know far too well the right to protest; those of us who served during and after Vietnam. Her behavior was despicable, and whether the Retired Airman was a fraud or not, her treatment of him was another indication of her arrogance and need to draw attention to herself.

November 30, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterGary

The SP's have the right to protect the base.
It's not a right, Mike; It's their job, and those are real bullets in their sidearms.

The reason they left was because they were about to see Travis AFB up close and personal. She was clearly not out of her mind.

November 30, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterGary

BTW JM, back your claim up that the Vet was a fraud. Frankly, I'm thinking the only fraud in this thread is you.

November 30, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterGary

PeteDawg, Cindy wasn't just disrespectful of an elderly veteran, she was condescending to the MPs. Did you see that? "Please, you have no authority over me. We pay for this property!"

Oh, yeah, well we all pay for the White House, too, but they have security measures.

Or maybe that's a bad example. ;)

It might actually be good if the vet was a fraud. Most don't act like that.

It was still hilarious!

I noticed some inconsistencies and my husband showed me some others. If he's Air Force, why is he wearing an Army Airborne beret, and wearing it like a chef's hat? Why would an Air Force vet have all those Army jump medals? Air Force don't parachute!

It was probably a set up by Code Pink. The whole thing was weird. But anything weird that happens to Cindy Sheehan is good in my book.

Amy,

It was windy. Also the Airforce does have jumpers. They are the Pararescue folks or "PJ's". They are some of the toughest people in the military. They have to go behind enemy lines and retrieve downed pilots. They wear the maroon beret. There motto is "So others may live."

If the old guy was a fraud, it was a pretty elaborate one as the uniform looks right.

December 1, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterMike

What a joke. First they protest the war because our soldiers are dying. Now they protest the war because we're using drones instead of soldiers. Idiots.

December 1, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterHawkeye

The drones had families, it's wrong they were innocent. They could have become Ovens, or microwaves. They will never know the joy of keeping my beer cold.

December 1, 2009 | Unregistered CommenterMike

my Xbox cries every time and drone is used in violence. Well, time to comfort by playing violent video games.
