Romney Ties Obama in Poll of Likely Voters for 2012 Election

A new Rasmussen poll reports that if the 2012 presidential election were held today, Republican Mitt Romney would tie President Barack Obama, while Obama would beat Sarah Palin.

2012:

Obama: 45%    Romney:  45%

Obama: 48%    Palin:  42%

Romney-Palin.

Now there's a ticket I'd support and campaign for.

Amen. I love Mitt Romney. He's incredibly grounded in real principles that he actually lives out.... no worrying about a sex scandal on the horizon. He's very articulate, right on the issues and Sarah Palin would make an EXCELLENT VP.

It's only July 2009, but the fact that support is slipping for Obama is encouraging. If the economy rebounds somehow, Obama will get a second term, but I'd rather people get jobs and have real work than we win an election. But I don't see any way that is possible with all the money flowing out of Washington.

Eventually, since such a small portion of the stimulus has been distrubted so far, the economy may rebound, but it will be temporary. I just hope people aren't too fooled by the temporary bounce. Two terms of Obama will ruin America. I didn't think any one person or party could ruin the U.S., but I was wrong.

Palin will generate the most excitement from the base. Even if she falters, Huckaby will cause more excitement than Romney who had to use $30 million of his own dough to keep pace with Huck's shoe-string funded campaign in '08. Palin could win the nomination unless the GOP does what is usually does and nominates a trusty old warhorse like Dole or McCain. If that person is Haley Barbour, he will defeat Obama.

Obama is going to try to create a crisis whereby the Consitution and elections will be suspended while he builds his dictatorship. He's already doing it while most Americans seem asleep. Takeover of the healthcare system, economy, major private industries, energy and appointing 33 unelected Czars that Congress has no power over are just the beginnings. Think Sail Alinsky's Rules for Radicals, folks. Think Bill Ayers, Jeremiah Wright, Railla Odinga.

Call me insane, a kook, a conspiratorialist, but Comrade Obama's 'change' includes a 1-party government forever just as other dictators implemented. Just be on the look out for the big 'crisis' that will provide the excuse for suspending the US Constitution. Its coming.

FOX is reporting this:

Massachusetts Health Care Woes Could Cast Cloud Over Romney Bid

Analysts say that if former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney's health care program continues to show signs of wear, he'll have to find a way to distance himself from it to have a shot at the GOP nomination in 2012.
