Biden: 'We Misread the Economy'
Monday, July 6, 2009 at 08:03AM “But so did everyone else”, says VP Biden. Obviously he’s not counting all those people who warned you not to vote for Obama/Biden.
BIDEN: Did the economic package we put in place, including the Recovery Act, is it the right package given the circumstances we’re in? And we believe it is the right package given the circumstances we’re in.
We misread how bad the economy was, but we are now only about 120 days into the recovery package. The truth of the matter was, no one anticipated, no one expected that that recovery package would in fact be in a position at this point of having to distribute the bulk of money.
BIDEN: Look, what we have to do now is we have to properly, adequately, transparently and effectively spend out the $787 billion.
STEPHANOPOULOS: That’s your job. You’re in charge of that now.
BIDEN: That is my job, and I think we’re doing it well.

Hey Mr. VP: You misread the United States Constitution, the Declaration of Independence, the Federalist Papers and the LAWS OF ECONOMICS.

Misread the Economy??? Did he not believe his own words when he said it will be as bad as the Great Depression? Was that a mere scare tactic that came to fruition after the trillion dollar spending spree?

Yes, and now Obama-Biden-et al are "misreading" the debt they are creating. And they are "misreading" the inflation it will cause. And they are "misreading" the Iranians. And they are "misreading" just about everything they look at... dopes.

Every time the Democrat-led Congress passes a new spending bill, or a new budget, or a load of earmarks -- without the money to pay for it -- we are all (including our children and grandchildren) paying a new tax! Government deficit spending is a hidden tax, because: a) we will eventually have to pay back those borrowed dollars, b) we will have to pay interest on the loan, or c) we will have to print the money, which creates inflation. Inflation reduces the value of our existing dollars, and is therefore another hidden tax!
So tell me... when these 1,000 page spending bills are passed without anybody in Congress reading them, doesn't that mean we are not being represented in Congress? We are being taxed without representation. Sound familiar? "No Taxation Without Representation!!!!"
