SUPPORT IRAQI FREEDOM

"Let me be clear on what the U.S. objectives are: The United States wants Iraq to rejoin the family of nations as a freedom-loving and law-abiding member. This is in our interest and that of our allies within the region.

The United States favors an Iraq that offers its people freedom at home. I categorically reject arguments that this is unattainable due to Iraq’s history or its ethnic or sectarian make-up. Iraqis deserve and desire freedom like everyone else. The United States looks forward to a democratically supported regime that would permit us to enter into a dialogue leading to the reintegration of Iraq into normal international life. "

-Bill Clinton, Iraq Liberation Act 1998

This blogroll is intended to serve as a sign of solidarity with the Iraqi people who have struggled for decades under a brutal dictatorship and have faced unimaginable odds to vote for a new government and Constitution, as well as for a better way of life.  It is also to show support for the heroes in Iraq called the United States military who risk their lives and sacrifice personal comfort and normalcy to better the lives of others, both foreign and domestic.

It is the intent of this effort to show solidarity with Christians in Iraq who have been disproportionately abused both during Saddam Hussein's reign and after.

If you support the war effort in Iraq, the soldiers, the mission and freedom for Iraqis, you can be a part of this blogroll.  If a member of the blogroll indicates beliefs contrary to the purpose of this effort, such as using vile characterizations to describe Iraqis, soldiers or the Commander in Chief,  that member will be deleted.
